Scremaz, indeed there is no pretense that this is not an attempt to partially circumvent the level-bind system. But what is wrong with that? Trading is allowed, it breaks no rules. This could allow high-level players to increase their profit, and low-level players to be able to get items they want. As for rigor, mooglemail and forum post timestamps should help establish ownership, but it's not foolproof. Trust in the host is still required from participants, though the rules make it more difficult for the host to be dishonest.

When salvaging forged gear, do you get 90% of the bindings back? Or are they gone forever once used?

Salvaging equipment with upgrades will always return 90% of the materials spent on upgrading rounded down (but never any catalysts).

There is one exception enclosed in brackets and i cant see any reason, why there should be a second exception that isnt mentioned. So this sentence tells you everything you need to know.

Just got what appears to be a pretty nice shortsword, and I think it's a decent upgrade from my current weapon, but I'm not certain about the relative benefits of a rapier VS a shortsword. What do you guys think?

Prefixless mag rapier vs leg shortsword with good rolls.
I would try to IW the shortsword and see, if you can get something better than your rapier I would switch, prefix + big difference in damage makes up for the lack of PA (also the rapier IW is bad).

The rapier is garbage compared to it. I already tried a (prefixed) mag rapier VS a 80% ADB shortsword at lvl330, and the rapier was utter trash compared to the shortsword.

Salvage the rapier, I'll delete it from my shop now that I know it's been soulfused.

I can speak from experience after converting two pieces from protection to slaughter.

Does using Infusions in battle really boosts your damage?
I used Infusions of Divinity with my Holy Mage and i didn't saw a difference, Paradise Lost blasts around 100k, Smite hits between 40-50k
It's supposedly a 25% uplift so there should be a noticeable difference

300 is probably too high of a level. For the past couple of years, I've been giving my monthly Gold Coupon to players at about level 200, which usually gets them something reasonable, but only gets them something really good about 20% of the time. At level 300, I suspect that most of it would become quickly discarded junk. I started giving away noodlies to players around level 150 a couple of months ago, but half of them would rather have the credits from selling the noodlies than try for something at the shrine.

You're already over +200 from your holy equipment. Adding that to your base (100%), you're going from over 300% to over 325% with an infusion of divinity, so its maybe a 7% or 8% increase.

Now that I think about it another problem with my son of blackjac test model, is that sending back all the redeemed crap equipment can only be done 10 per mooglemail. The investment in time might still be acceptable on my end since I have to redeem trophies one by one anyway, but the recipient might not want to accept so many mooglemails, either because it wastes their time or clutters their inbox. Is there a way to delete read mooglemail?

What do you guys think? If I instead sell the crap and give the credits to the sender, that opens up yet another undesirable avenue for me to be dishonest.

I think Accuracy only negates evade.

You need overpower, overwhelming strikes, or stun to bypass parry/block.
