i have 0,5-1,5 T/s, it takes me an hour and a half to clear Pfudor DwD (~6500t) with my Heavy set, which is why i'm going Holy Mage.
I have this staff, and i bought this one from Kedama's auction.
I thought the new one was good, but the lack of bids has left me in doubt.
Is it good? What should i do to survive Pfudor DwD as holy? (i can do PF REs but 8-10 monsters usually trigger SoL twice)

I don't know but my current cold mage set with very meh equipments and not a single forge can give me 5k7 turns PFU DwD and I'm still in the prof farming period. Triggering SoL is normal. Just spam spells and heal when you need to heal.

If I had to choose I would say no, but for your level is ok, better than a mag at least.

Level up, forge, get better equipments.
PFUDOR Holy maging at your level is not a good fit, without imperil maging is still too risky (against SGs is a tad more forgiving since you usually start the round with full HP, but still pretty challenging).

Use 5 phase for SGs,use Magnet and Imp only on schoolgirls in rounds with schoolgirl.Holy mage need way less turns to clear SG than element mages,and arena(espacially SG)won't need much defence as fest.

Cap has base prof of 8.21
Total of 14.46

Both equips will be lv. 500 when I start using them, one soulfused, other as-is.

How can I calculate the prof factor I will have with these 2 items, when fully forged, at level 500?

I'll just ask once more. Should I scrap my [alt.hentaiverse.org] current shield to get materials to forge [alt.hentaiverse.org] this one?

My vote is for: salvage the old. Be gone, you Shield of Feeble Blockage!

No, the staff will be upgraded at level 500. I'll do the staff calculation based on my Cunning Plan. And perk is in the pocket already.

ok, so let's assume you have dark prof maxed (or close to, with recent patch). let's say 480? math is very rough, so expect, uh... 5% error? maybe a bit more.

staff, 129 for now. roughly 150 at full forge.

vanilla shoes at your level should be ~90. full forging would bring them to 120 or so.

vanilla cap, 123. full forged, roughly 160.


let's sum all of these: 480 + 129 + 120 + 160 = 889

with perk: 889 * 1.1 = 978


which means 1.04 prof factor.



there's the chance i considered lv500 here and your level there, but difference between the two isn't too big, so error is little. and you'll still be around 1 prof even without fully forging your staff.

at that point, i'd start thinking about forging staff more than cottons, and sparing a bit of cloths.

should i buy it ?is it end game level? (Sorry, for silly queries but I don't know much about DW (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) )


Between Slaughter vs Nimble vs Balance .
Which is better for end game equipment.

a decent piece on its own, but slaughter suffix on a waki isn't exactly the best.

Between Slaughter vs Nimble vs Balance .
Which is better for end game equipment.

nimble for bonus parry. when your evade will be enough (or with niten, which doesn't have offhand parry boost) you may consider also balance for more crit.
high-level niteners could think about slaughter waki, but sort of a niche sector.


for a mid-level, DW-wannabe like you i'd suggest a whatever-prefixed nimble with decent parry/DEX/AGI rolls.

staff will be more like 110, fully forged - I am planning to go willow.
That's 41 lower than your example. That means about 848 prof. With perk it's 933. That means 0.86 prof factor. And I need only 0.8 for imperil style. Okay, these 2 items will do for now. Thanks for the help!

I remember reading somewhere on the forum that it isn't worth giving artifacts and/or trophies to the Shrine, but I'm having trouble finding that info again. Could anyone clarify what I should be doing with them? Thanks!

Basically, shrining artifacts is a gambling: most times you will receive trash (few days ago one user reported that he shrined ~1000 trophies and got only one legendary equipment from one Noodle Appengage trophy. It is good that he got at least one!).
So, why you should test your luck then? Instead you can visit WTB-section of the forum and find someone who are buying trophies for nice price (they are rich cats and have millions of credits, so they can afford a gambling in an attempt to get good equipment).
