QUOTE(Scremaz @ Sep 13 2017, 04:49) uh, fair enough. but i developed my spreadsheets with excel 2010, so i can grant for them to be ocmpatible with it (possibly with 2007, 2013 and 2016 as well), but no clue about openoffice.
most likely only a few formatting things will be gone, but who knows...
what about libreoffice 5.1 (i use it)? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Sep 13 2017, 01:10) Who needs excel, when there is open office?
I work with both and I have to say excel is vastly superior. Well it's like comparing an expensive restaurant meal and a free one. QUOTE(Scremaz @ Sep 13 2017, 01:19) most likely only a few formatting things will be gone, but who knows...
And you will have to rewrite all macro. QUOTE(ALL_MIGHT @ Sep 13 2017, 01:23) what about libreoffice 5.1 (i use it)? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Isn't it openoffice? This post has been edited by as013: Sep 13 2017, 01:26

Ah, see? Thats the different. You work with it, i dont. I just use it once in a while, for just use once in a while open office is perfect.

Isn't it openoffice? No, it isn't. It's a different fork, and imo Libreoffice is superior to OpenOffice in quite a few aspects. Not last, the support of non-native file formats in input.

As much as I want to say good things about it, the only thing I can think of is the ease of sharing. Everything else is horrible.

QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Sep 13 2017, 01:22) It does. And now you know that. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) ah. good to know, thanks QUOTE(ALL_MIGHT @ Sep 13 2017, 01:23) what about libreoffice 5.1 (i use it)? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) no clue. feel free to test. feedback appreciated QUOTE(as013 @ Sep 13 2017, 01:26) And you will have to rewrite all macro.
no macros. i don't use them for the sake of compatibility. windows would pop an alert when opening the file, and i cannot be arsed to tell people how to whitelist it depending on safety level. and since i change file name, it should be done for every release. and this before even speaking about which software you use to open them files... QUOTE(buimon @ Sep 13 2017, 01:38) And now we have a choice of google sheet to share...
i tried it a bit. apart for the fact that i prefer offline solutions as much as possible, it doesn't have all the functions i need.

I don't know why we're discussing which spread sheet software to use. Where can I get data about the amount of damage each spell does?

Because it it hentatverse forum - we are discussing anything, but porn here =) QUOTE Shiet, never noticed it's right next to Spells Just be careful, formulas may be outdated, but what we have at wiki is enough to understand the idea how complicated damage of spells is.

I'm wondering whether to blast the SGs with T2 & T3 and cost more mana or hit them lightly with T1 to be economical.

because some tools (including but not limited to mine) are in form of excel spreadsheets, so someone may be interested in the best way to open them

one may say "that's what the command fleeing is used for" (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) however, until a while ago there was the credit transfer to send credits without even needing to access HV, so you were fine with credits - then it was removed. currently, if you need to transfer funds/items quickly and you're stuck in a quest, the only way i can find for doing this is actually fleeing from the quest. guess it's also to prevent abuses, since one may - for absurd - start a quest with a set, changing it meanwhile and ending it with another one, depending on which mobs you find in a round.

Mostly it's more economical to use T2 & T3,mana potions are cheap, but you turns are expensive. You can caculate your income per turn with super's income summary script at earlier time. It's broken for now but excel can do same work.

Can 1H clear PFfest economically? I can clear IWfest by using draughts and a few potions. I try hard to clear PFfest. I can't bear the attack after 600+ rounds. Finally I clear it and use more than 200 SP potions. It seems that IWfest is more economical, isn't it?
On the other hand, to clear IWfest takes me 3h(2t/s) by 1H. I have 10m in hand, how can I clear PFfest economically or clear IWfest faster(maybe within 2h?).
If I want to clear PFfest economically by mage. How much should I spend and What should I spend for?
