What weapon would you guys recommend me to one shot monsters (not school girls) in Normal mode? I was thinking in getting a 2H weapon to get rid of them quickly. I'm currently using 1H/Rapier, it's safe but I'm not sure if it's the fastest way. I highly doubt I'll be dying in Normal mode, so playing safe is not necessary, I'm guessing...

a holy staff. otherwise if you still want to through the 1H route, maybe a hallowed/demonix axe?

a hallowed/demonic longsword? even if perma-spirit and counter-stuns may be more valuable than sheer ADB...

Does anyone remember when we talked about the proficiency slots for dark mage? It wasn't too long ago, just after 0.86 patch I think... But I can't find it in this thread.

Or I'll ask again: what slots will get a lv500 dark mage a 0.8 prof factor with good gear not peerless?

btw, a calculator for a minimum prof shouldn't be too hard to realize...

200-500 amnesia shards, and a couple of days non-stop grinding. I think in the old days Super used to do it for 6m or so, iirc.

Mine took 226 amnesia shards when done by vivi with the dark descent hath perk a half year ago. At the time, I thought that this was within the normal range, but a little more than average.

Hi guys, I'm certain it's in this thread somewhere but it's a chore to search through.

What is best Potencies set-up for a 1H? Is it Butcher-5 and Fatality-4? And if I were to run DW set-up, is it the same between both weapons?

That surprised me too when I first noticed it, but it's normal. It is because both you and I still remember playing at a very low level. At our current level most monsters have maxed elemental resistance. Read my earlier explanation again. In theory cold strike could be the best, especially if you cast imperil. But I still like dark and holy strike best.

butcher and fatality, yep.

for DW you need some overpower. personally i suggest fatality and overpower on offhand, and whatever combo of butcher, fatality and overpower on mainhand. in the particular case of club as mainhand, you can go with butcher and fatality as primary targets on both.

then you can go for Butcher/Fatality as main potencies, both in mainhand and offhand. i wouldn't get mad about a couple Overpowers, but it shifts from needed to tolerated.

Swift Strike may be superior to Overpower on DW club/rapier. Swift Strike can get 10% more hits in during a stun, which might translate to an extra guaranteed hit every other enemy (100% anti-parry). Overpower is giving you 20% anti-parry maybe two times per enemy. There is no bleeding wound or other downside to Swift Strike in this weapon configuration, plus you get all the normal benefits.

I already have 30 speed bonus without doing anything, and further would be added multiplicatively, effectively reducing its effect. Thanks but no thanks, better improving damage

Bought Enigma Energizer hath perk - pretty good for 1H I should say. No as effective as for mage, but still.
That 20% bonus to attack is significant and without any benchmarks and tests I can say that I see that I am killing monsters faster with it.
Too bad it lasts only for 50 rounds and Riddlemasters are so random, but still I am not disappointed. It costs only 200 hath (~850,000 credits) - so it is not that big money to invest.

I am wondering - how that bonus from Riddlemaster is calculated with Dæmon Duality?
Say, I have Dæmon Duality, it gives me +10% permanent boost.
I have Riddlemaster's Blessing that gives me +20% temporally boost
So, it is 100% + 10% + 20% = 130% total, or
So, it is (100% + 10%) * 1.2 = 132% total?
