Oh no, i stay away from that thread. I dont like to keep track of something i rarely use and search for something i could maybe need, over month just in case i dont miss that single specific post. I did mention this shortly after the update, but no one did care, so i didnt care and decided just to ignore it once and for all. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

uh, ok. your goal is to reach 0.68 prof factor for elemental imperil. you're lv418, so it means ~700 prof overall. divided it by 1.1 (due to perk), subtract prof from staff, consider a bit of effect from forge (up to 1.33x, which means lv50) and you'll obtain the minimum base prof needed - thus the minimum slot needed. kinda.

if you are serious about cold mage and plan to get better gear: shoes. I use gloves, but with the new feature of getting more prof than your level that isn't needed. And my LARD has relatively low elemental prof.

That's something I've been curious about, actually. With the recent changes to the proficiency system, does it really matter which 2 prof pieces you get as holy/dark mage? I mean, wouldn't you hit 1.0 quite easily if your base proficiency is 20-30 levels above your own? Note: I don't play mage (yet), so I might be talking out of my ass here (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

But it's kinda hard to get the full 20% above your level. For a level 500 player, it may take over 10 years (rough estimate). And a measly 5%-10% bonus would make up for one cheaper slot, I'd think.

At Potency Tier: 9 Reached Overpower Lv.3 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Should i do Reforge? or keep going? If keep going , Then could someone explain the trick to get desired strike ( when i reach 10) using infusions. For eg. i want dark strike . so is there a way by using infusion or etc ? to what i have to infuse or something else etc. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) OR what i mean to ask is what is trick to get desired strike when one reach Potency Tier: 10? (if possible Dark Strike) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) This post has been edited by ALL_MIGHT: Sep 9 2017, 09:26

Pray. If you want to have total control over what elements you bring to the battlefield, stay at level 9 and throw in infusions.

What will happen if I infuse it with fire before 10. Then will I not get fire damage at 10. Or will I only get fire? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) This post has been edited by ALL_MIGHT: Sep 9 2017, 12:46

QUOTE(ALL_MIGHT @ Sep 9 2017, 12:28) is it possible that if I infuse it with fire. Then at least I won't get fire damage at 10.
Am I correct?
i doubt it, but we don't have enough datas to say no, afaik. feel free to try. with seven different infusions, while you're at it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

anyone know when a monster's ID is determined: when unlocking the slot, creating the monster or naming it? i assume a monster that is unnamed due to starvation will retain its ID when reactivated, but what happens to the ID when you delete and remake a monster?

only my wild guess, but i'd say: 1. ID determined when creating the monster 2. monster is flagged and ID remains on the database, effectively making it un-usable again do you absolutely need an answer?
