I have 1-turn PA on my eth rapier, but I frequently see 2 turns on it. Does anyone have a definitive answer on why? Is it the whole "LOL, 14 decimal places" tomfoolery?

I'd thought about that, but the duration on the effect tooltip normally accounts for that. With Bleed, if the mob takes an action after you proc them, the counter already shows one less than what your weapon's duration is once the page loads for the next turn. My axe has 2 turns of Bleed, but I only see it with more than 1 if I got a double-hit in and I proc'd BW. Unless I was thinking about it all wrong, which is entirely possible.

I've noticed that with Rapiers before. I think that's just how it works. Don't make a big fuss about it, otherwise someone might "fix" it.

It depends on the situation and your evasion/parry or block. If you have a lot of other damage avoidance, SV is less effective. (Mine reads out as 19.6, but I actually get about half that in additional damage avoidance).
I, however, use neither, preferring Haste. (I'm a mage)

Now that I actually look at the cost, it probably IS a waste of MP... but lately I've been keeping my MP high in arenas, and I like being able to go several rounds without worrying about my HP. To get better than superior, is very easy, just clear The Sisters and the Tree on battletoads (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

That's... I dunno what it is. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I got two Fine shortswords today, along with a staff that wasn't too bad (though I have better), which is the best I've done in a while, and I was hoping my drops were generally improving.

Quality is also based on which round you're on (the higher the better). So getting further in your IW and grindfests can also increase the quality of drops.

As for Superior equipment, I have gotten some non-suffixed equipment to some low quality suffixed equipment to high quality equipment, mostly from the Arena. I haven't seen any Exquisite drops yet.
My Luck of the Draw right now is 13/25.

From my testing, I'd say that it's useful, but with one major caveat:
You need a ton of HP Tanks to make it worthwhile. It heals for a LOT, but you pay for that with the very high MP cost. If you've got enough HP to make full use of Cure II on a consistent basis, it is slightly better than Cure. It's MP-to-HP ratio is slightly lower than Cure's, but the fact that you save a full turn or more by only having to cast one Cure II for every two or three Cures you would otherwise cast makes up for it.

Specific numbers for me are:
My Level: 155
HP Tanks: 33
END: 180
Total HP: 3754
Curative Prof: 122.55 (0 interference)
Cure Restores: 950-1100
Cure II Restores: 2350-2750

Notice that to make full use of my massive Cure IIs, I need to let my HP drop dangerously low (less than 1000), despite having all but 9 of my possible HP Tanks.

Difficulty has a far greater effect. You can't play anything lower than normal and expect Superior. Level also has a bit an effect (because it effects the stats of the monster and thus the bonus).

Personally I have 9 LotD and see a rare Superior here or there in Hard Arena and lengthy Normal Item Worlds and Grindfests. Nothing worth noting, really (except a fairly decent Buckler, but it's a Buckler).

I'd say it is more a product of how many equipment drops you get. The more equips that drop, the more chances you have to get a good roll and get a superior.

Does X-Nerf last longer than Nerf? Is it more effective than Nerf? If it does last longer, is it more mana efficient than Nerf in terms of MP/duration?

Weaken and Bewilder have the lowest cost. The wiki has lots of information on spells and the HentaiVerse in general.
