This is probably a dumb question, but if I sell a piece of equipment that I soulfused to myself, is anybody else actually able to buy it? I would imagine they could but it'd be untradeabe, since otherwise I don't think i'd be able to sell it at all.

QUOTE(jacquelope @ Jul 31 2015, 22:37) It's like there's no cloth cap drops and none in the Bazaar any time that I search.
I'm kinda in a pickle here.
Keep searching. One will show up.

Hi,
I play the new version and it seems there is some bugs.
Channeling from auto spell => never, in the past, with auto cast + channeling, i can maintain Heatseek easily + some spells, now it seems only to trigger when manually casting spell (but sometimes channeling trigger (like every 500 rounds and i have 2 auto spells (protestion + haste)).
Grindfest, it seems that the "One additional roll for crystals in Grindfest (forward to C.Type Roll)" never happens, but i am not sure, and sometimes, all monsters give something, it is very strange with 10% (15%?) drop chance. EDIT: finally, for grindfest, with more testing, it was very the random part, it gives more than arena. But it is a great nerf in grindfest !

Just got this from wiki "Supportive Proficiency has a chance to be raised with each turn that an auto-cast spell is active. However, auto-cast spells cannot proc Channeling." I think its been this way for a while but I don't really know (haven't been paying attention). This post has been edited by rfEH: Aug 5 2015, 14:52

Thanks for the research, it is clear for me now. Before the new version (<0.83), auto-cast had a chance to proc channeling. Now, it is very boring, because it nullifies the advantage of auto cast, the 20% less (30%) is less than the cost of very mana consumming spell that was free before 0.83 (using the channeling proc of auto cast). In the nearly three years I've been playing, Innate Arcana ('autocast') has never been able to proc channeling.
You can only get channeling from actually casting a spell manually or a Mystic Gem. That has not changed in a long time, if ever.

Does anyone have any (offensive) spells they would recommend to a two-handed 2H user? I have ability points and master points I can spend, but so far I'm not sure whether I should go for any depreciating (or is it deprecating) spells, such as drain, slow, weaken, etc.
Any high level have advice?

Weaken, Silence & Imperil can be good for bosses or high level monsters if you are having trouble; I wouldn't bother with any of the others as a melee player.

Don't forget sleep aswell, yes its a bit high mp usage but its got me out of trouble before especially when silence or weaken has failed to stick.

At higher levels, will I face spellcasting monsters more? I assume that's what silence is great against, and weaken physical monsters. Do I need to train depre magic to lower the resist chance of sleep?

Once you get closer to 200 you will face monsters that can use stronger MP and SP attacks. Currently monsters don't use depreciating magic. When you are at lower levels, some higher level bosses on higher difficulties can 1 hit you. Silence prevents the monsters from using their most powerful attacks, though if silence runs out then they might fire off a salvo pretty instantly.

I'd almost say it's inevitable. First buffs, then never ending pain.

The game is starting to feel really slow for me. How long did/does it take for you to level up around my level?

Well lvling near your lvl (currently 82) from memory you can get about 5 up to 15 lvl per day (it does slow down as you level higher) like for instance I remember gaining like 2 level per nintendo RE at some point but mostly you be trying doing something like hell RE. Once you improve survivablility sometime above lvl 100 (depends on you gear and how you play I guess) you can do about nintendo RE and level up that way up till lvl 200. But yeah about 5 level a day min up to 15 if you do RE at higher than normal difficulties. Once you are past lvl 200 everything slows down quite dramatically and the only way to keep leveling at fast rate is to play everything at either IWBTH/PF, so not very fun because arena will then take forever. You start being able to do PF RE but even they won't be covering 1 level per encounter. At that point I think it took me 7 days to gain 25 lvl in which I was purely IWing my weapon and played zero arenas during that time so hard to judge but still easy to level I guess. At my current level I find its a crawl but then again I'm fairly lazy because I think I've seen a guy lvl from 150 to 350 in like slightly over 2 months maybe my mind playing tricks on me but I remember thinking to myself that is blindingly fast. EDIT ROFLMAO just looked at your start date and saw you just started, but yeah no wonder you think its slow the starting level goes past really quickly. May be a silly question, but I can't seem to find the answer. Just started the game, read through the wiki, and I was wondering if the dawn of the day event doesn't occur on the first day, or if I'm just an idiot and can't find it. Thanks.

you may have missed it, the easiest way to find it is when you first log in on the main page each day to refresh the screen or click on user control panel

All the items at Eq Shop are from a certain level, so for 20-30 levels now I haven't upgraded my eq at all, what I drop is still weaker than what I have, but it seems like I'm getting weaker this way, but I don't want to soulfuse my whole eq(I've no $), is it ok to rely on drops for eq, or should I look somewhere else?

I was like thinking that way too at about the start of lvl 200 nothing good was dropping for me and the mobs were starting to hit harder. But rest assured drops will get better since you are past lvl 200 (and have spirit shield) you can possibly play PF RE to get some decent equipment (when they drop it can sometime take awhile). I've heard drops really start coming around lvl 300 or so but some will say nothing good ever drops. I relied on purely on self-found and bazaar and I think I'm doing ok now ( QUOTE(rfEH @ Aug 7 2015, 14:36) Follow the quote link to see my post on my self-found equipment. ). Hence it is possible to rely on drop for equipment. But if all else fails buying cheap unassigned from other players in the WTS market is also a good way to get equipment if you don't want to rely on your luck.
