QUOTE(DotHackHaseo @ Jan 15 2015, 04:46) can anyone told me how my monster from monster lab can participate in battle ?? my monster power level already 33 and i already go to grindfest, item world or arena but none i see my monster attack
You just need to level it up to PL 25+ and name it. Don't forget to name its skill too, or it won't be used in battle. In case you are wondering, it won't fight at your side, but may appear in battle to fight other players (and possibly you too, if its PL is in your level/difficulty range). All those monsters you have been fighting are for a large part player-generated with the monster lab. Your monsters will bring you gifts once in a while (usually every 2/3 days, more if it wins battles). http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Monster_Lab

1) What power level do pets start gifting High Level materials?
I have one sitting at PL 278 and have only gotten Mid-levels mats and 1 binding of destruction a long time ago.
Crystals are expensive, what is the optimal strategy for leveling?
Only use crystals when moral is 0 and treat them as happy pills?
2) I am level 196 and getting my ass wooped on random encounters (Battletoads). Can some one look at these stats and tell me if this is typical at this range?
Using Superior Mace of Slaughter (30% stun over 4 turns) 760 crushing damage Dex+30.66
armor = basic exquisite plate of protection/deflection
Stats:
221 str 220 dex 190 agi 220 end 120 int 190 wis
prof: 2 handed = 164.97 Heavy armor = 163.97
Elemental prof:
ele 0 divine 0 forbid 0 deprec 7.2 supportive 131.82
base health 3874 base magic 397 base spirit 292
69% domino strikes
2132 attack base damage 108.1% hit 11.7% crit 0 attack speed bonus
146.2% mana cost modifer
83.1 hp boost 60% mp boost
Defense:
61.7 phys mit 50% magical mit
0 evade 0 block 13.6% parry 7.6% resist
92.4 interference 100.1 burden
Thanks.

I'm level 93, using DW and light armor, and I'm getting overwhelmed.
Is using one handed and heavy armor better?
Thanks.

1. At PL 500+, as stated on the wiki. Use crystals when the morale gets under 50%. If possible, don't buy crystals from the Item Shop, buy them from other players instead. You can get a crystal pack (1000 crystals of each type) for about 65k nowadays, which is about 5.4c per crystal, much cheaper than the 10c crystals of the shop. 2. Your stats are fine, but I wouldn't recommend using Heavy Armor with anything else than a shield due to the lack of resist. It's usually recommended to start using 1H around lvl 200, so you can just do that (the recommended build is Ethereal/Hallowed/Demonic Rapier of Slaughter + Force Shield with high block + Power armor set). Else, find some light armor to use with the mace. QUOTE(roxaim @ Jan 16 2015, 13:37) I'm level 93, using DW and light armor, and I'm getting overwhelmed.

The recommended setup for DW is Club of Slaughter + Rapier of Balance/Nimble. You can also use Rapier of Slaughter + Waki of the Nimble to take advantage of the high parry of waki. If you wanna switch to 1H, I have to warn you, the gear is kinda expensive, and at your level you won't be able to get as many counters as lvl 200+ because of your low prof. You can try using a mace instead, the multi-stun it provides is a great defensive tool and you will have an easier time against large groups. At lvl 100, you will start getting Random Encounters with up to 10 monsters, so be prepared. This post has been edited by Dan31: Jan 16 2015, 15:11

So at this point I better stick with my current setup and maybe look for better equipment? And am I doing this right? (IMG:[ puu.sh] http://puu.sh/eAULF/35a44aee94.png)

Is there a way to view unupgraded stats of an item for the sake of comparison with other items?

You need to upgrade your WIS to ~90. WIS gives you more mana and magic defense. You can also raise your INT to 60~70, just for the spirit points. You need to lower your burden to less than 40, otherwise your attack speed is reduced. Look for ethereal weapons (ethereal mace if you wanna switch to 2H, ethereal club/rapier otherwise). You can't.

Monsters can kill other players. Its proxy murder.

Pretty much whenever you can afford one. Or go visit the Free Shop and grab something. Edit: I sent you an axe I had lying around my inventory. Have fun! This post has been edited by White Joker: Jan 17 2015, 09:37

So any reason for a fixed rate of 1000 C for every Arena challenge? Can't we raise it by increments of 100-200 for every increasing arena challenge? Or even for the level 101-300. Can't we have it raised to something like 1500 C or 2000 C instead of a fixed 1000 C?

The arena rewards were changed in response to multi-account holders.

QUOTE(DotHackHaseo @ Jan 19 2015, 17:21) and what the efect for using spirit and attack speed too i thought this game is turn based ?? I think it's a bit like Final Fantasy X. You don't see them (since it's in the inside of the game engine), but you have icons showing when you and the opponents attacks, and the next icons for next actions are pushed or pulled depending on the speed. With that system, your or a monster icon could appear several times within a single HV turn. In the end, what you see is that instead of each character acting once a turn, there are turns where only you act, only some monsters act, or turns where a monster act several times (while others act once or don't appear). For spirit, spirit stance has lots of effects (mp cost decrease, damage increase...), and it's also consumed by Spark Of Life and Spirit Shield. edit: added more about the fact that you don't see the inner working of the game engine, you only guess it from long term observation. I thought the Training time was increasing but then I sold an item, seeing that: CODE 2015-01-22 10:30 +2 Sold 1 "Lesser Health Potion" 2015-01-22 09:25 -13643 Training: Ability Boost Now the trick is that it's it was 11:30 here, and the bottom right of the forum show the right time (11:30). So here's my question: Is there a way to fix the time in Credit Log to remember when a training started properly?
