Ok i am a complete noob at this, but after reading through the wiki, google searching and more i still can't find a proper answer, so i want to play a mage, but how on eart do i learn some damaging spells, right now i only have cure and protect, it seems like (from what i can gather) that it's tied to the elemetalist proficiency, and getting more in that, but how can i get more i that when i have no spells other than curing and protect, hope someone can answer this one for me

Wear gossamer of the elementalist/demon-fiend/heaven-sent.
But not sure if you might be too low level - they have level requirement too.

Do toplists and/or forum activity affect anything besides exp gain?

Daily toplist rewards are only EXP gain, but monthly and yearly are different. Forum activity affects EXP received at the dawn.

Yeah I know about the special Snowflake gifts on monthly and yearly, was just curious whether it affected in-game stuff besides exp.

1. If I'm going for two-handed, will maxing endurance or agility help more?
2. Recommend: light or heavy armor for two-handed?
3. Does agility do anything with attack speed anymore? I read somewhere on the forums that it didn't anymore but wiki says otherwise.

You should get some better answers in the ask the experts thread, which is more about strategy. This thread's more about game mechanics.

As for the third question, agility above your level now increases your action speed. It has been a few times before, but now it does increase your action speed.

does anyone know the exact levels when you start getting : confuse, Imperil, Silence.etc?

i went to check Deprecating Skills but i'm already 157..and in abilities there's options to add point in it

does this mean i need more Deprecating prof?

Deprecating 153.99 for me, and i have all those abilities. I think it is level-related. Some levels are quite funky atm in requirements, not always matching up in what makes sense.

I just wanted to set my quickbar slot and when it all reseted to '(Not Assigned)' I checked the wiki and I still can't find that button (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) .

Oh shi**! It was there! My resolution is 1024x768, and until now I could navigate enough to see the necessary things, but for this I had to adjust the size of the window :facepalm:.
