Well I am not sure. Once upon a time skillchip made a calculation, and the result is here. FSM's data should be correct as it's stated by Tenb.

If elemental resistance is added to resist, there's no way mages at lv.100 won't whine about that when they're facing RL, which is resistant (50%+) on everything.

Hmmm I sense there is great wisdom in this one you call "skillchip" thanks for the info

Now I see what the wiki is for so varst doesn't have to do so much explaining when asked the same questions a million times (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) after all this time I find out I'd be doing it wrong asking here is so much easier than sifting through pages and pages on the wiki after a search to not find what you where looking for

Anyone know why is it that when using anything but the default font settings, when in the character list, the text on the right side gets really mashed up near the middle/bottom. (like the lines start mixing together)


example: (It looks like this when i use the download function also and on several different computers with several different monitors/monitor sizes/aspect ratios) . I've tried this both with mods and without mods. As mentioned below, the magic score script seems to fix it for me.

Also, I was wondering exactly how karma exhaustion works. How long do I have to wait if someone imbued me with karma before I can imbue them back? If I have karma exhaustion, will I see it on the imbue screen before I actually imbue (where it tells you how much you are imbuing them with) or does it not show the actual amount until the calculation portion?

Some scripts do the adjustment; for example, Tiap's magic score script.

You can imbue someone back immediately unless
- you've imbued him during the last 72 hours
- you haven't imbued some other members after you've last imbued him(AFAIK it's 10)
- Since you last imbued him, his post count hasn't changed

Send it as a gift, they then gift you the money, if something goes wrong they gift you back what you sent them instead.

technically without a COD someone COULD screw you. But aside from being a dick move it also will ruin their reputation when you make it public.

CODs are expensive and its not considered cheating to bypass them in such a manner. (which is a real shame, I had suggested before that CODs should be cheap and that market trades should give you more fair prices)

EDIT: Postage paid is a brand new 10hath perk that eliminates the 10c base charge as well as the COD price (10%).
So, while you are unlikely to send the 16k messages needed to break even without CODs, it would pay for itself pretty quickly with CODs...

Though since COD costs are capped at 1ks calling them expensive is a bit too much now?

There are still cases that it won't matter though, like with IW leveling services.

EDIT: Also, traditionally the one who requests sths sends first.

Just a quick question, did the cost of elemental crystal upgrades get lowered at some point and if they where did the cost of the upgrades not change to the lower rate for elemental upgrades you had already started before the change?

when ML first came out I'm pretty sure the cost was higher, but was changed a few weeks later. you'd have to check the patch notes for that, it would have been +1.5 years ago or something

I only ask cause I have a few monsters who seem to have reasonably high upgrade costs compared to values I see in the wiki, can someone let me know if these are correct for regular values

I checked the crystal cost spreadsheet and I don't know if I was reading it right or not but it didn't quite add up

I think I recall maybe crystal ranges changed at some point and maybe the reason it doesn't add up is because the initial starting number used to be a lot lower or higher than what is now listed in the wiki?

You may need to check if it's actually -18...no I'm serious.
24652 fits the amount of upgrade required from 35th to 36th, and in your case it will be from -15 to -14.

You may have to screen cap this if it really happens. Daimon's elemental resistances has been changed, but AFAIK never to its holy resistance.

He once rage-quitted the HV because Tenboro cut down the cost of crystals, I think
