Same as with any browser, mouseover and hit "c".

QUOTE(Drawde @ Sep 23 2012, 10:35) What is the best suffix for a staff? And at what point is spell damage or magic damage better than the other?
There are too many random variables to say "X suffix is automatically better then Y". Some suffixes have a higher chance of rolling a superior item but you can still get a better item rolled from a "worse" suffix and an inferior item rolled from a "superior" suffix. Tiap's "magic scores" script help with rapidly comparing different staves damage capacity by adding up your base value and the items bonuses to MDB, PAB, and Proficiency and applying appropriate EDB from other sources (like your armor) to it. There are of course other factors aside from just your overall magic score but its the main one to consider and his script is great at quickly calculating it on an item by item basis. Though when it comes to staves, I'd like to mention that really strong staves(think hundreds of thousands of credits in playerbase value) are disliked to have focus suffix since the item world provides potentially mana conversation - the most useful potency for it from staves - to all staves buf focus ones.

Good point, and it is going to get even worse when potency reset is introduced, since focus rarely gives a perfect roll but with potency reset you can get any staff to Economizer 5. That being said, there are still going to be exceptions due to luck so you still must check items on a case by case basis This post has been edited by mrttao: Sep 24 2012, 20:38

I think I have some setting wrong then. Nothing ever happens except an "error on page" message in the lower left corner of the window when I do that. As far as staffs go, I'm trying to figure out which of mine is the "best". I know there's too many variables, but I was wondering roughly how ED and magic damage compared. Any ad/popup blocker? As for staff, it's difficult to tell. It also depends on the spell you're using.

Drawde: Get magic scores script for those staves. Problem solved.
Also, disable popup blocking in your browser/blockup blocker on www.hentaiverse.org. Problem, once again, solved.

Only popup blocker I have is the one that comes with IE. Disabled it for http://hentaiverse.org/ and even turned it off, and nothing. Do you need to restart your computer or something? I move the mouse pointer to where it's over the item, and the item's description shows up. I hit the "c" key. The try pasting it. What else could I be doing wrong?

There is nothing to paste, hitting c should open a new window. IE has a built in popup blocker. You will need to exclude the site. Or better yet, you should play on chrome (or SRware iron).

Probably been asked before, but how exactly does Swift Strike work? Does it only increase action speed when you're attacking?
Also, when a weapon is leveled up to level 10, does it get hollow-forged and another potency? Or just hollow-forged?

Is there a quick way to gain staff proficiency? because I've been grinding item world and it's barely moving up at all.

Do that on IWBTH crude IW. That's the fastest way already.

Is there some reason the difficultly has to be that high?

Crude IW is to lower the amount of damage from monsters. IWBTH difficulty is to increase the monster's HP so you can get more hit before the monster dies. Preferably with: 1. A staff with low physical damage to further lower the damage dealt to monsters. 2. Heavy armor to tank the damage from monsters. 3. No IA to lower unnecessary mana cost.

you should use what ever armor that has the lowest proficiency. Its easier to work on both at the same time or you can use a piece of each and get a boost to all of them. I used light or cloth since heavy was maxed. Using Priestess gear works well since Regen II will heal a ton of damage. if you need to work on a lot of them (because you leveled too fast) training Assimilator to +5 would be a good idea too. you can also run the schoolgirls on a very high setting where you'll need to use ET. It would go up as fast but you will be getting something more out of your time.

Well for the armor part, I just assume he's no problem with that. Of course it's always better if you can train your armor prof at the same time (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
