I have two pieces of battlecaster equipment with 18,6% and 11,6% mana conservation respectively. When I equip first one of it (don't matter which) I receive full bonus except fractional part. But equipping second piece leave me short on two percent as it is and without sum of fractional parts. So, even though I sopposed to have mana conservation bonus = 30,2% and mana cost = 70%, I actually have mana cost = 73%. Interference = 0. Is it bug?

EDIT - Mystery solved. The mana conservation value is rounded down to the nearest whole number. Then, it is added multiplicatively for DW.

Do you mean the quickbar?
Did you switch equipment sets with/without realizing it?
Your quickbars (even when they're empty) are linked to your equipment sets, so that's the only explanation I can think of that would cause an apparent "clearing."

that was what happened, i figured it out when i ran out of mana really fast, and couldn't get a spell to land for the life of me. i had donned my heavey set for some reason.

not a good idea for a mage in a IWBTH hourly.

Would really appreciate any advice on beating the trio and the tree, because I tried it twice and got owed before round 10. I assume the monsters get tougher at level 200 also or am I wrong?

Yes they do get stronger, but at what difficulty you're playing Trio? Have you picked SP shield with you?

Then you should try to use SP shield (with spark if you're not familiar with their strength and weaknesses). Because getting owned before turn 10 is strange....

Yeah (red bar), I've been playing pretty decent since I went full mage, but after I reached rank 193 I've been getting murdered. I'm gonna train ability boost and full up the SP shield. BTW-What kind of staff should I be using?

Depends on your main spell. If it's elemental then ebony, if it's holy/dark then katalox. After all, EDB from staff still helps a bit.

Then I guess elemental is my thing, I'm using destruction right now because of the MDB.

Yes. So nobody needs to worry about IWing and underlevel equips again (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Now if we could only get rid of "Crude" equipment

On the equipment pop up there's a level then either a "0" slash and a number followed by

a second number behind the slash, is that the highest level that particular piece of equipment
can go?

No, equips now always scaled to your level. The x/y is related to something called item potency added in this patch.

Does the spell cure scale on how much MP you have? Or any spell really.

Spells cost are all scaled to your level.

If you ignore other factors, it's just simply (Level * Base_cost / 100), where base_cost depends on the spell you're using.

Has equipment drop rate gone down after the latest update? Feels like Arena-clearing has hardly gotten me anything today, whereas I had been getting quite a bit on previous days. I might just be unlucky today though.
