So magnet is supposed to stop monsters from resisting and evading, but does it also stop parrying? I just got it and don't feel like testing it out.

Probably caused by it recalculating. Maybe you changed sets on another tab?

I just hit level 200 and saw a huge increase in difficulty. It looks like I can run in to any monster now at any power level. Is this something other people had to compensate for or deal with?

Edit: I'm, also running into Ichy's Lisis. Sigh.

Yeah everyone had to deal with it.

It'll slowly get better as you get used to it by around lvl 210.

I know how to Google, and that doesn't answer my question. Unless I'm blind, nowhere on that page directly says raising monsters is the only way to get materials.

Currently only Materials can be gotten this way.

I think what is should state is "currently, only materials are offered as gifts"

There isn't any other way to get materials (other than buying it from the Bazaar/other players)

You can purchase upgrading materials from other players/bazaar. Otherwise the only way is to get yourself some monsters.
On the other hand, enhancing materials (shards) can drop in battles.

And yes, it's 'Currently only Materials can be gotten this way' but not 'Currently Materials can only be gotten this way'
