O.o that explains it! I was also wondering why domino strikes always seems to be skewed to one side.

The wiki has this on Domino Strike though:
"Getting domino strike to proc on the second monster will automatically proc domino strike on the third and fourth."

Which makes sense now that we know how it works. It's the second monster as in the second monster above or below the main target. If it procs on that monster, then it will autoproc on the third and fourth.

That doesn't make sense, since I've seen occasions where there are 9 monsters but I only hit 2 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I'm not sure whether this is a bug or not, but based on the fact that this is the first time this has happened to me, and that it contradicts the description of the Spell, I'm not sure where to post this (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) The description for the Spell Bewilder states that it's supposed to prevent effected enemies from scoring critical hits with magic, yet Is this a bug, or is it just something no-one told anyone about? And if it's not a bug, then shouldn't the Spell's description be changed to exclude the part about prevent effected enemies from scoring critical hits with magic?

Are you talking about the critical hit scored by Dig Dug at 2 5? Or do you mean that only skills are prevented from getting criticals? This post has been edited by tentacle-man61: May 1 2012, 16:18

Yeah, any normal attack is a physical attack, even if it has a element associated with it.

Yep. Full 9 monsters are alive, but I got this: 3 2 You hit Ao Kiji for 2861 void damage. 3 1 You hit Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen for 2871 void damage. If the wiki is correct, then I should've seen 2 misses.

3 1 You hit Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen for 2871 void damage. That's you main target, so that means you only hit 1 monster above or below Eila. You need to hit the next monster after Ao Kiji to autoproc domino on the 3rd and 4th.

From buktore's description, domino strike's roll is separate from the hit roll. So you can still hit one monster without the domino proc.

Huh, just noticed this.
Using skills counts as skipping a turn, even if its successful?

Thanks, like some of my other theoretical posts, it will be hard to prove. Especially without Tenboro confirming/denying like on my post about loot quality bonus formula and its various formulas. I need more numbers from him too!

Question: Since void damage ignores specific mitigation, would it also ignore specific weakness, such as weak to crush, slash, pierce, etc...

Yes, so if something is weak to piecing or piercing , it is better to not use a void weapon and use a piercing one instead.

Yes, except that only few bosses actually worth the effort of switching out void weapon, and infusions covered that
