So far I have been getting Channeling proc after casting 2 supportive spells, so I can cast the costly mana spells like Arcane Focus and Regen II and Spark doesn't wipe out my mana in 5 rounds.

Some people use the lvl 1 spells to get CM to show up allowing for the more costly spells to be used cost effectively.

Is bleed still viable now, with the agitation of mobs + the increased in health?

If you leave mobs to die with bleed, that means they can get 1 extra hit on you with increased damage. That'll cause a lot more healing needed.

AFAIK from a melee friend, bleeding may work even better when you're playing in high difficulty.

I noticed that the Penetrated Armor proc lowers "Physical" resistance by 50% in the wiki.
Does that mean if I use an Ethereal weapon or an elemental Infusion, I don't get any bonus damage?

As long as you're using a weapon to deal the damage, the bonus still applies.

Void weapons basically ignores crushing/slashing/piercing mitigation.

So I've finally collected about 200 hath (at 188 right now, should have 200 by early next week) and I just wanted to clarify my purchase plan since it took so long to get here.

Should I go Black Aura --> White Aura --> Rainbow Aura -->Whatever else (probably IA)?

Or should I try for the Rainbow Aura first since it'll give that nice boost to regen rates as well as the significant exp boost?

I've heard Black Aura suggested as the first one, but since I'm light melee does the White Aura make more sense (no boost to Intelligence which is pretty useless to me)?
Admittedly I plan to switch over to Mage eventually (probably around level 200) and I'd like to have both, but for now I'd just like whichever one will help me with my current setup.

If you're planning to go maging, black aura should be a better choice.

The idea is that you can collect credits/artifacts much faster at higher level, and with black aura on you can gain level at a faster rate.
Thus you'll be getting both black/rainbow aura earlier.

Regen rate from rainbow aura is good, but I would say EXP first. 50% is a big difference.

And no to white aura. That 10% hp increment alone is the reason why it's put into last place.
Not to mention you're not going to be affected that much from the primary attributes nowadays.

I spent my other hath on the first 2 IA and penny pincher. It's going slow for now because nobody is selling any godly mana pots, so I gotta spend like 20K in mana pots buying from the bazaar to replace what I spend everyday. otherwise I could just buy 4 or 5 hath a day.

Should i use credit to buy equipment in Bazaar shop ? I can use high level equipment, right ? Should i buy high level equipment (if i can afford that) ?
I want to be a melee fighter, in Character/Abilities, what should i learn ?
I am a melee, ok, but my magic abilities are freaking weak, they damaged monsters for 1 HP :| What the problem ?
How can i find a friend in HV ?

Use credits to buy stuff in bazaar: sometimes. You have to see whether it is worth it for you. Personally, I spend all credits at the trainer.

Str/dex with some agi for speed and wisdom for mana. You will want to heal yourself once you get heal.

The problem is you aren't a caster.

You're well on your way to friends too, just hang around the forums and help people.

Buying equipments from Bazaar is usually not a good idea; most of the time you can get things much cheaper from other players through WTS threads, and you may not have the experience to choose those which are valuable from bazaar.
And yes you can use equipments with level higher than you, and that's what most people do.

As a new player, you can pretty much keep everything balanced.
Learn more about different equipments/playing styles, and you can choose to adjust your stats accordingly.
The reason why your spells won't deal much damage is because you're not usually a staff with some good clothes. Some prof. in magic would help.
This isn't a game where you can effectively mix fighting skills with casting skills; choose either of them to proceed.

As for friends, joining conversation is surely the best way to make some friends.

Unarmed fighting style gives +50% hit chance I think, real base hit chance is 80%

I have a few questions. From the FAQ, it says

Q: Does training Quartermaster reduce your chance of getting items/artifacts? Does training Archaeologist reduce your chance of getting equipment/other items?
A: Technically, yes, but the reduction is infinitesimally small.

Does that mean training both of them would be a bad idea which cancels out the benefits?

Also, is it allowed to create more than 1 HV account? I'm thinking about 1 for melee and 1 for mage.
