I'm not an expert but I'll answer what I can.

New player here with a few questions, some are a bit on the subjective advice side.
1) I've recently noticed in the last few levels a large jump in incoming damage. Whereas before I was playing on heroic from about 12-28 for the EXP boost, I've swapped down to Hard and it still seems to be a huge difference. I'm noticing that monsters (it seems mainly player created pets/mobs) can now hit for 300-350 damage in a single special attack (I currently have 579 hp, all HP tanks available filled, 36 endurance.) I find it odd because I've mainly been going with the philosophy of healing when I'm low enough to make use of a Channeling proc, but that is far too dangerous now. I'm wondering if this damage increase is normal, or if I'm possibly neglecting a skill like Protection. I generally go with a kill order of Uncommon-Player Pets-Mobs that are about to come out of stun-Mobs with high Mana.
Waiting till you can make use of Channeling is waiting to long. The protection spell isn't that good.

2) Is there any real advantage to going into deep rounds of Grindfest? The monsters become more plentiful, but it seems that I can make it usually 20ish rounds in before I use any consumables, and then I can only make it another 10-12 depending on luck with channeling and full consumables.
They give more exp at later rounds. Not sure if it worth it though.

3) I've noticed some people alluding to the concept that Proficiencies level faster at higher levels until they get close to your level, but haven't really been able to find any solid info in the Wiki etc. Just generally want to know if this is true or if I should be trying to keep certain profs (like deprecating/support) at a decent level so I'm not at a major disadvantage when I start trying RoB/Legendary type stuff.
They do, you should be able to keep all you prof decent just with normal use.

4) I started as a Dual Wield melee, but recently switched to 2H since Domino Strikes with a Mace seems absurdly powerful in general for Grinding/Leveling. Is 2h viable throughout later levels or does DW become much better for Legendary/RoB battles because of the ability to Spirit stance and use DW skills for massive damage (I figure it may be possible to Stance and use Shatter Strike with the overcharge tanks but it seems like DW could stance and do multiple skills in the same situation making it far superior.) Also later in the game is it even a problem to switch back and forth?
I use both 2H and DW regularly, Sprite Stance and Skills are just 2 patches old and the last patch was also a significant change so I'm not sure what better right now.

5) I've seen people refer to their "Spirit Attack," is this just referring to entering spirit stance and using their fighting styles skill, a spell, or something you gain in the later levels?
Sprite Stance replaced Spirit Attack. Anything that refers to Spirit Attack is outdated.

6) I've started generating some Hath with H@H, most people suggest getting the metallic aura's first which I plan on doing. I was wondering if it would be worth selling the Hath for credits and upgrading to some Shade armor before doing so? I don't really know how large of a different between Leather/Kevlar and Shade really comes out to be ingame, but the difference on paper seems very large.
At your level sell the hath, my lifetime hath count is only about 20 counting the Christmas hath.

7) If I was going to start looking for some endgame type items, which would be the best suffixes? The Wiki explains them all in general, but I don't really know which ends up being effective endgame for a melee fighter and would dislike spending credits on something that ended up subpar.
That's because Melee isn't that good level +200. For now just try to get what you can afford.

8) I've mainly been putting into Ability Training, and sometimes Exp Training when I know I'll be on the computer long enough to go directly into another training. Are there any other trainings aside from Ability that may not be readily apparent to a new player? At face value Ability Boost, Refined Aura and Assimilator seem to be the most powerful (although the latter 2 are far out of my price range QQ.) Although I am not entirely sure on the various drop boosting trainings.
At your level stick just to Adept learner and Ability Boost.

9) As far as stats go I've been keeping Str as my highest stat, End as my secondary and then trying to keep everything aside from Int (since from the derived stats thread all I could really see it benefiting was magical damage, and 1/3 the amount of Wis to mana.) With the large damage increase I've been seeing should I change my philosophy to a higher amount in End or Agi/Dex (whichever helps mitigation/evasion, I would have to look.)
That's about right.

Huge post, and some of these questions probably belong in the ask the experts thread, but thank you for any answers or help you can provide.
