QUOTE(pocky00 @ Sep 18 2011, 14:02) Something else that I thought about after reading these forums a bit: Is there any bonus or something other to the "hourly encounters"? They're the same as random encounters, right? I turned them off in the settings because they were just annoying and seemed useless, but from reading many posts in the forum I get the impression that they carry some form of reward or bonus?
Semi-bumping this question and also adding another one: I heard you get some kind of bonus from daily posts or something similiar? Like you get an exp-buff if you make 10 posts for a day or something like that?

Not sure about the hourly encounters, but I remember reading somewhere that every post you make on the forums boosts your gained exp by 10%, up to a maximum of 100%, for 24 hours.

Is there some kinds of item crafting system in this game ? Because I received materials from my monsters. The material' s description show me that these materials can be used to make equipments like: cloth or light/heavy armor.
So I would like to know if I can craft items in this game ?

Not right now, the system's still developing. Wait for later patches.

Collectables. You can sell it to those pony-lovers (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Cheers Edit: Another thing I thought about... If you complete FSM on normal and get the trophy, would it have the same "loot value" (or whatever it's called) as if you get that trophy by beating it on, say, heroic? This post has been edited by pocky00: Sep 26 2011, 04:05

For the trophy, yeah. FSM also has an equip drop, whose quality is improved by difficulty (usually fine/superior for me on Nintendo).

For higher difficulty fights that take a while, do clubs/maces still dominate?

If you have a good Scythe it can do more damage per turn (against the right monsters and with good Two-handed proficiency), but Maces will incapacitate the enemies reducing the damage done to you and hopefully the mana upkeep in turn. Maces probably offer the most, but aren't a clear and unconditional superior especially with the nerf. So some preference is involved.

Thanks. I've thinking of using an estoc due to the many giants out there. Tried it once with a decent estoc that's close to the damage of the mace I have, but I think I had to heal more often. That was likely due to the slight difference in damage, and that PA didn't seem to cause much extra damage. But nothing conclusive with only a single try.

Here are a few questions about Auto-cast.
1) When is an ability auto-casted? Is an ability auto-casted when its duration runs out or do you set the number of turns for it to be auto-casted?
2) How does the upkeep cost work? (Do you pay both the upkeep cost AND the cost of the ability?)
3) I hear that some abilities cannot be auto-casted, which ones are they?
Thank you in advance. (=

1. Auto-cast is on you when you enter a battle, and it stays on you until your mana drops below 10%. As soon as your mana goes above 25% it reappears again. There is no duration involved. 2. You pay only the upkeep, so the mana you get every turn is your mana regen minus your upkeep cost. Which means that for most, you will actually slowly lose mana every turn. Until you drop below 10%, where the auto-casted spells disappear and you don't have to pay upkeep anymore. You can also cast those spells like normal, in which case the auto-cast is turned off and you get normal regen. A nice thing to do if you are low on mana and get channeling. The spell then re-appears as auto-cast the turn after it has run out, so you left with one turn without it, between the duration of the casted spell disappearing and the auto-cast re-appearing. 3. Easier to list the ones you can auto-cast I think. And those would be Protection, Haste, Shadow Veil, Spark of Life and Spirit Shield. So you cannot put absorb, arcane focus, heartseeker or the elemental spike spells on auto-cast.
