Do we know the proc chance on Channeling? It's not on the wiki, as far I can tell.

As far as I know, we do not. I once asked Tenboro and never got a reply.

but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets better with more prof (like Blind does)

I vaguely remember reading somewhere about how Blind work with Depre prof but I kinda forgot it... How does it work again?

Tenboro confirmed it somewhere I believe. I think it was one of the patch threads. Not this latest one, but one of the two before that.

Edit: Make that 3 patches ago.

You're probably doing it wrong. Coalesced Mana and Channeling both use the same probability, factored from Staff Proficiency, and is always between 10% and 35%. (You can see yours on the Equip screen.)

About nerf:

- Deprecative magic proficiency now has a larger effect of the effect of Nerf, particularly the defensive reduction.

Nerf is mostly balanced against the X-Nerf you get on level 200, so its main function is increasing how much damage monsters take as well as reducing their chance to evade and resist. The effect on rating isn't very high. But either way, the numbers it uses aren't very useful for a tooltip, since you're just gonna go "ok, and that does what exactly?".

Sorry, I tried searching but had no luck. Can anyone tell me how much spell proficiency = 1 spell damage?

For example

Is it better to equip demon fiend that gives +20 forbidden proficiency or Fenrir that gives +3 dark dmg etc.

That might be how it works now, but we don't actually know. The rest of it is probably still the same as before.

Before the patch? Did you add the mdm from AF?

Was before the patch ya, and yes i did add AF. I had 2 staffs with roughly the same stats but different mdm and edb, was like 15 difference between them, wore all cotton and just switched staff after a few hundred rounds too see the overall damage. I used electric tier 1 all the way till i died. Im guessing i probably played to few rounds.

Well since the general consensus that mdm and edb hve the same effect i will go by that and trust that it is.

I don't see a reason why there wouldn't be. Only things like cloth of the raccoon or some other combinations which make no sense do not drop.

I can vouch for the first one.
