Am I doing something wrong? (chaos tokens)

I've never seen a chaos token, I'm aware they are supposed to appear as an arena bonus or something but I complete my arena stuff just about daily and still no chaos token do you only get them after a certain level? is there something special you have to do or am I just plain unlucky?

Chance for Chaos Token for Arena Token Bonus is 10% I think.

The relative drop rate on tokens is 60% Healing, 30% Blood, 10% Chaos. So, chaos tokens are simply very rare. I've only gotten a total of 12, and I've been doing 12-24 arenas every day for over a month now.

If it's physical no.

If the monster's attack says "Monster uses Attack Name", it's a physical attack. If it says "Monster casts Attack Name", it's a magical attack, and thus unaffected by Weaken. This is regardless of what type of damage it deals or what style of attack it is (Soul attack vs MP-based attack).

Well, that's odd. Of the four bosses, I've been lead to believe that only ManBearPig's spirit attack is magical in nature, and yet I got hit by a crit Purr by a Mithra, even though I had weakened proc'd on it.

You're probably misremembering this, since I've never seen Weaken fail to prevent a crit except against crit-chance-buffed Trio sisters.

I'd imagine that might be the case then. However, I'll keep my eyes peeled in the future, because a crit happening when it shouldn't has seemingly slipped through enough for me to sort of take notice of it, because it often makes me dead.

1. Some phase pieces increase magical damage.
2. Depends, to be honest, it's pretty bad edb wise. Still better than nothing of course.

Phase equipment is special for two reasons:
1) It has no burden or interference, and generally has many Primary Attribute Bonuses and strong Evade %.
2) It's the only type of armor that can give Elemental Damage Bonus stats (like how yours gives +3.14% wind damage), which are the most offensive stats for mages.

Not really. It has a pretty poor EDB bonus, and it's Wind damage, which is an unpopular element for mages.
