mh, I just realized something. When I went to the IW of my shield (crude, lvl 33), for a 9 monster battle, I got ~ 80 to 85 xp. When I go to my sword (fine lvl 150 or something), for a 9 mosnter battle I got over 100 xp. Does the quality/level of the item determine how much experience I get? And will the monster difficulty increase? (Of course, 1% more damage for every level I advance, but other than that?)

item quality and difficulty both affect how much xp gained and how strong monsters are

ok, thx for the answer. Another one though, when is it worthwhile going for mage? I'm currently lvl 32, and I'm getting my ass handed to me on Grindfest as well as the Arena (barely just finished the lvl 10 on normal X_X)
€: because in some other Thread, I saw that arcane meditation is highly recommended, but that's not until lvl 130 X_X

110, because of the first tier 3 spell. Though, some folks switch earlier (at 40 for example), some even start out as mages, but for me, I'd go with 110. Or, if you're patient enough, 130 (I switched at 130, but only because I was completely sick of the difficulty increase for melee).

Thanks again^^ Anyone knows how the new procs (vampire etc) are handled if you have 2 weapons with their effect? Because I have 2 vampires with 20 and... I think 18% chance atm, but I rarely ever see them trigger. Are they triggered seperately, or are they combined like bleeding effects?

Two already? I haven't had any yet... It should tell you on the Equipment screen. Scroll down the right hand pane and see what it says under "Drain Procs".

1/ Can a shield block and counter-attack spells? 2/ Are the evade, parry, and block rate listed in the equipment page the real values? 3/ Does Intelligence help Curative and Supportive spells? 4/ Which 3 auras should a new melee player choose? 5/ Does Parry work regardless of the weapon equipped?

1- Block yes, counter no. 2- Yes. 3- No. 4- Three from the first four, I suppose. Your goal should be to have all seven. 5- You can parry unarmed. Check the equipment screen for percentages; mine's 11.4% with a staff.

Can I start training, then enter a montage, and get the benefits from both?

Is Blind useful against RoB enemies? As in, they're not immune or heavily resistant to it, are they? Also, the wiki doesn't say what the base duration is. Anybody know?

Why doen't shield proficiency work on block? Why doesn't one-handed proficiency work on parry? Is it a bug or intended?

Because you touch yourself at night and don't read patch notes.

I have 2 questions so far
1 which factor is the regen. Example: I have 27 health regen, It's 27 every minute, second or what?
2 Does karma work for something than just saiying how good aligned are you in the forums? because I see all the members seeking for karma and I wonder if it do something like extra damange or something like this because if it's not necessary at all I don't wanna being desesperated hunting "karma givers" without any reason

Does it work out to be better to gain money/xp in grindfest or item worlds?
I'm guessing item worlds, but my poor fragile mage does not like the marathon battles...
And is there any downside (aside from needing longer to regenerate) to being defeated in battle as opposed to successfully fleeing?
