No. [ i56.tinypic.com] http://i56.tinypic.com/73ebzc.jpgThis is an example of it. I said a pop up, but isn't a new "browser window", it's a window that appears too fast for me to being able to read anything. (like 1/10 seconds or something) The circle represents something I can barely see it's some kind of smile/face. It appears very randomly, I can't even say how much often it appears perhaps 1-2 times a week. This happens probably from the beginning of this release, just I didn't care, but it's strange no one noticed yet.

Does the quality of the item used for Item World affect the quality of the drops/appearance of bosses?

No. Nothing affects the appearance rate of bosses. At least nothing documented does.
The only things that affect item quality are difficulty setting and Luck of the Draw training.

Remind me, please, how do I get a copiable equipment pop-up? QUOTE(Conquest101 @ Sep 26 2010, 10:04) No. Nothing affects the appearance rate of bosses. At least nothing documented does.
The only things that affect item quality are difficulty setting and Luck of the Draw training. I think diff settings affects the chance of bosses to appear, as under lower than normal difficulty the chance for bosses and up to appear in hourly is 0%. Thanks. A question about the Item World: is it possible to estimate the chance for equipment leveling up based on the difficulty level? I have a 58 lv Superior and 76 level Exquisite item that I'd like to level up; just done both at Cake and got nothing (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) This post has been edited by Red_Piotrus: Sep 30 2010, 00:26

Below normal has a chance of 1 along with a chance of nothing. Normal gives a guaranteed 1 with the possibility of 2. Everything above normal but below Battletoads gives either 1 or 2. Battletoads gives a guaranteed 2 with the possibility of 3.

a few dumb questions regarding weapons: - can they have elemental attacks? like say, a fire-damage wakisashi or an ice-damage katana
- if so, are they affected by one's elemental-proficiencies? futhermore, can an elemental weapon activate the corresponding battle proc.? like the aforementioned ice katana giving "frozen limbs" or whatever it's called
- finally, has anyone found any elemental weapons, i mean, how rare are they? if they exist, that is

There is only one type of non-physical weapon. All weapons can, very rarely, spawn with the prefix "Ethereal". They work like normal including all normal procs (Penetrate Armor for Rapiers, Bleed for Axes, etc.), but they do Soul damage instead of physical type damage (Slashing/Crushing/Piercing). Ethereal weapons also have no Burden/Interference. For example, this longswordThis post has been edited by Conquest101: Sep 30 2010, 21:05

I was briefly playing a mage; it seems to me that ether theft will replace and nullify coalescent mana - is this a bug?

No, that's working as intended. Ether theft requires that a target has coalesced mana active and than be hit with your staff. It'd be broken if both could be active at the same time, as then you could just constantly re-proc ET without ever having to re-proc CM. Infinite mana ^2.

yet another dumb one from me, is the poison spell/ability affected by auras or elemental proficiencies or... anything?
seems rather odd to have a spell that's not related to, or affected by anything

Deprecating proficiency and magic rating. (Technically enemy barrier rating as well. By that I mean it does more when PA or Nerf is in effect)
