Has anybody noticed a frequent "malfunction" with any of the hotkeys recently? Before, I was used to the rare occasions when the Quickbar wouldn't register and I've always waved it off as a side-effect of hijacking the the hotkeys. Lately, I've been getting the Items keys not working and its happening more than the QC keys ever did. I wanted to check with everyone else to see if I wasn't just imagining it.

I've never had any problems. Except that Alt+8 causes Firefox to go back a page, and I can't figure out how to disable it.

The hotkey still registers though, it's just annoying.

Just a question about Script Mechanics.

I was just finishing off an I.P.U., with the "Wait 'til it's Armor is Penetrated then hit it with a Spirit" strategy, which of course means that over the course of a long battle your SP will be at or near zero.

I finish off the creature and my HP/MP are restored........and my SP jumps from 2 or 3 all the way up to 189 points (out of about 570).

What's up with that? Is there a "new" Partial Spirit Regeneration Bonus for finishing an Arena via an unannounced alteration to HV....or is it just a glitch.....or has this sort of Spirit Bonus always been in place but I've never noticed it all this time?

I've noticed that too. The same thing happens if Spark of Life triggers during a battle. It seems to correspond to the real time SP regen you would get, counting from the point where it was first used up. I'm sure it's not supposed to be doing that, but I wasn't going to complain...

If it is indeed a Script Glitch, then I ain't gonna complain, either.

Lord only knows if the "fix" to the code will screw things up worse......

Proficiency is relative and not tier base right?

Like if I have a staff prof of say 25 than I would get 2.5% bonus from my gears stats correct? It's not so I have to get Prof at 100 before the benefit kicks in for the 10% more rewards right?

Also, In RoB, does fighting on higher difficulty mean the item dropped will have a higher chance of being better?
Oh and is there any statistic that shows how much better the chance is for better quality gear in comparison between Boss/Legend/Gods?

It doesn't improve what is given from trading trophies to the shrine, but yes, like always, it improves drop quality.

Credits and EXP for certain. Equipment/items are very likely.

If not, is it worth getting a soul spell and maxing the aoe for the lowered cost for a melee guy?

You mean like "Click to activate this aura" when the mouse pointer is over a monster? Yes. I've never bothered to report it, though.
