Is it just a problem on my end or is the verse ridiculously slow at the moment?

A few people are experiencing problems with the HV lagging a lot... fortunately for me I am not, since the last upgrade, HV runs even faster then before. So I think the problem should be your connection,or some unknow bug, sorry.

It did work quite a bit better than before and then suddenly stopped working completely for a couple hours. It's working great again now, so whatever caused it to die is hopefully fixed/gone.

Something strange just happened... I was in the middle of a session, wanted to light me a nice ciggy... and then all out of a sudden LIGHTNING SPEED, click/boom, click/boom... I hope it stays this way, who ever is responsible I´d like to kiss your feet!!!!

Channeling isn't supposed to last 3 turns? I saw now that I got 5 turns.

Channeling that you proc with your staff lasts longer than the kind you get from a Mystic Gem.

Is it possible to trigger Channeling when casting an AOE on a target other than the enemy with Ether Theft?

It isn't supposed to be:

ET can only proc into Channeling with an AoE if the primary target is affected

Is it normal to use items for Rolling Stone, Blazing Field, Fresh Meat Arena OR is my build too weak?

I usually end up using 1/2 small/medium mana draught for Rolling Stone and Blazing Field and about 3/4 medium mana draughts for Blazing Field.

Usual fighting style is Shield and 1W+1S or Shield and DW.

Whatever server is responsible for HV images was extremely slow yesterday, but it seems to be fine now. I don't think it's related to the lag people normally have.

No. (I just tested).

I just did 20 rounds of Grindfest, and not once did I get a domino strike when my attack killed the primary target, so it looks like you're right.

While it seem to be true that, if your main target died by your attacks (not counting bleed damage), DOM strikes will not proc.

After I learn this, I thought ... Since Niten could also proc offhand strike.. = higher attacks damage on initial hit = mobs die more often on initial attacks (especially the 1 hit kill attack) = DOM strike proc even less than pure 2H...?! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) this is just so fucked up if it's true. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Now, I'm happy after found out that was wrong!

3 9 Bleeding Wound hits Scary Ghost for 152 damage.
3 8 Scary Ghost misses the attack against you.
3 7 Cookie Monster has been defeated.
3 6 Your offhand hits Cookie Monster for 347 slashing damage.
3 5 Blue Slime gains the effect Bleeding Wound.
3 4 You hit Blue Slime for 206 slashing damage.
3 3 Scary Ghost gains the effect Bleeding Wound.
3 2 You hit Scary Ghost for 353 slashing damage.
3 1 You crit Cookie Monster for 681 slashing damage.

Offhand strike hit came after DOM strikes! Cookie Monster died in 1 hit yet DOM strikes still proc.

DOM strikes is supposed to proc even if the primary target dies, although it won't happens for now, it will be fixed (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

does anyone playing on cake got any artifact drop recently?

it been 5 day without any artifact drop and usually 1-2 day per artifact, now on IW i been fighting 10-8k mob on cake but nothing and equipment also seem roughly the same with 0-3 per day.

any1 feel the same way? or it just artifact dont drop on cake no more.

HV Stats state I get an artifact every 500 rounds on cake fest/IW and an equipment every 100 arounds or so.

I have 2 artifacts and a couple items trained and I only get one 1400 rounds on cake.
