QUOTE(Anto of the Sand @ Mar 13 2010, 06:58) Q; Does a montage continue running after I've left the page? i.e. Bazzar training. Actually, no, it doesn't continue running if you go to some other HentaiVervse page. Montages are a form of battle, and you can't do anything else in HV while you're in battle. You can start a Montage and then do other things besides HV, but leaving the montage page to check out the bazaar, or re-arrange equipment will end the Montage and start the 12-hour cooldown timer.

Those questions are all actually answered on the Montage page of the wiki.

What kind of description? Their snowflake donation value? If that is what you want to know, I don't think Tenboro has ever given us that (I think I might have asked but he didn't answer)

Just wanted to double-check: Offhands and Counters can't crit, right? I keep forgetting every time I remember. =\

Counters can't crit. Offhands can't either, but they do deal 50% extra damage when they proc on a mainhand crit. The log never says "your offhand crits", though.
On a somewhat related note, does the wiki mention anywhere that that your mainhand proc always triggers on a crit? I can't think of where that info would/aught to be.

Probably not because I don't recall Tenboro every mentioning this.

Never realized that. Yeah, it's not a very well known effect. Marcho told me about it, back when I sold him my +22% crit sword-chucks. He was sporting a 40% crit chance, with his nasty 500 bleed axe in his mainhand. Killed shit off real quick by procing that bleed more than 50% of the time. @cmal: Tenb may never have mentioned it, but it's easy enough to test if you want to confirm it. I'm not 100% sure that it works on Domino Strike crits, but now that I think about it, can the splash damage procs crit?

I was wondering that as well. Does anyone know? And I'm quite sure crit==>proc. EDIT: I think DomStrike crit also proc. At least that's what I've been seeing for the last 10-ish DomStrike crits. This post has been edited by ChosenUno: Mar 14 2010, 16:12

It seems to be true. And DomStrikes can crit, I do it all the time. Crit = Proc would make sense, though, since there was that one time I did a five-strike Domino with my Niten pair that Crit and Bled everything. The main problem with using sword chucks for the crit is accuracy. Sure, you wreck whatever you hit, but you gotta hit 'em first. I've been testing using my Superior Chucks of Crit as the offhand for my Eth setup, though, to test just how effective it is against Ring enemies.

Has anyone had a Priceless Ming Vase drop? There's no description of it on the wiki besides the name, but it sounds like a reference to the original Gundam (0079).

They don't drop any more, so unless someone has kept one from when they did drop, we'll never know what the description said.

Or someone could look through the item thread and see if anyone mentioned it. I searched for Ming Vase but didn't find it, but that doesn't mean it isn't there hiding. Edit: I should add a note to the wiki saying that they no longer drop... This post has been edited by Boggyb: Mar 14 2010, 22:23

Don't forget the Grue, Rabbit's Foot, and Clover.

I didn't. It was the non-tech artifacts. I assume because Tenboro thought he was going to do something else in the future with them. Obviously, that never happened and I doubt it ever will.

Hmm.. after reading about Domino strike, I just noticed this. QUOTE 1 8 Scary Ghost hits you for 0 physical damage. 1 7 Scary Ghost gains the effect Bleeding Wound. 1 6 You crit Scary Ghost for 194 slashing damage. 1 5 Tentacle Monster gains the effect Bleeding Wound. 1 4 You crit Tentacle Monster for 260 slashing damage. 1 3 Green Slime gains the effect Bleeding Wound. 1 2 You crit Green Slime for 386 slashing damage. 1 1 You hit Mantitcore for 244 slashing damage. It seem that... 1. Critical roll for main and splash hit are separated. 2. Roll for crit chance are roll once and the results are applied to all monsters in both direction (unless I'm really lucky here) 3. Critical with DomStrikes will also always proc (unless I'm really lucky here as well..) 4. Critical always hit...? ------------ Well, it seem like I was lucky after all.. QUOTE 1 5 You hit Cookie Monster for 217 slashing damage. 1 4 Rabid Hamster gains the effect Bleeding Wound. 1 3 You crit Rabid Hamster for 175 slashing damage. 1 2 You hit Fire Fox for 213 slashing damage. 1 1 You hit Blue Slime for 307 slashing damage. Now, 1 and 2 are wrong, crit chance are roll separately for each monster, as well as proc chance. 3 seem to be right. Can someone answer 4 ?
