QUOTE(cmdct @ Mar 5 2010, 16:37) Is anyone there that use absorb? If so, what situation is used? Is worth is mana cost, for only 75% change of trigger, and what amount of mana is recovered? And sleep, it is worth to use in the arena? (I mean, make the boss/legendary sleep, while killing all the other mobs)
I used to use Absorb a lot, but I don't really bother now. You might find it useful against bosses, especially Manbearpig. The amount of mana returned isn't directly related to the cost of the spell: QUOTE -- On a successful trigger, the absorbed MP is now random between 5% and 10% of your current base max MP. -- It will now absorb more MP the more points you put in it. The bonus returned MP is 12.5% per additional point. (So with 5 points you'd absorb between 7.5% and 15%). And I use Sleep all the time on Battletoads, but never on lower settings.

Here's a general question to everyone who actually uses the wiki (hinthint) for reference: How do you feel about the way formulas are formatted? Are you fine with one-line format, or would you prefer the more traditional/conventional look? I'm asking because the wiki software supports math equation formatting, but it has to be turned on. Since the math tags don't work, I can only assume Tenboro left it disabled. Would it be worth it to ask him to turn them on?

QUOTE(Boggyb @ Mar 3 2010, 16:14) Ok, lets put it like this: If you do it, I swear to God, I will not stop raising hell until Tenboro either: 1) removes the K- cap and I spend the next six months negging you into oblivion. 2) Bans you.
Option 3 exists, as well

Sorry 'bout that. Q; How in general do most of you go about H.V.? I just tend to play grindfest, though now I'm a little more confident, I do the Arena a little bit. Sorry if this question is stupid or has already been asked.

I've been taking it easy, so I'm not power-leveling like I used to. Used to do all of the arenas on varying difficulties, but now I only do the ones with 1.0x or higher EXP multipliers regularly. If I've got time or need a little extra XP, I hop into the lower ones to spam for proficiency. I also used to do a few long IWs to XP farm, but now I only do a few IWs to level a few of my items (Eth rapier, Phase cap, Kevlar boots, some special mit gear). Around 200 rounds of Easy Grindfest for proficiency and my daily credit allowance. Occasionally, I'll hop into the Ring and play with the Legendaries because I want to test some gear.

I do all of the Boss level arenas and IW my Phase Shoes and Pants. (I'll probably switch out the pants with something else when it reaches my level.) This post has been edited by Boggyb: Mar 6 2010, 19:56

That HentaiVerse Henjutsu Training that offers increased Power Regen....
by "Power Regen" do they mean the rate at which your Overcharge comes back in battle, or does it affect more than just that...or does it affect something else entirely??

It affects Karma Power. Don't bother with it, its a waste of credits.

I've downloaded screengrab to help me with H.V., for questions and stuff, but I'm having a bit of trouble. I went on to the little download window and right clicked for "open". After closing Firefox like it said, I completed the "form" and selected the option for most common settings, then finish. Twice I've done this and when I right click on a page I want I can't see the "screengrab" option. Am I doing something wrong?

Wrong thread, dude. Try the Tech forums, and be more specific.

QUOTE(coredumperror @ Mar 2 2010, 18:23) The first roll determines if you get any loot at all. That one is affected by Scavenger, so training Scavenger increases your overall loot drop chance, including equipment and (I think) artifacts.
So when Tenboro specifically uses the word "loot" for one type of Henjutsu Training, but specifically uses the word "Equipment" for another kind of training, those two terms are essentially interchageable?? (That one had just hit me when I went back into the Training Page, because now I am personally wondering to myself, 'IF "equipment" is nothing more than another category of "loot," then why should I train both "Scavenger" and "Quartermaster??" ')

No. Loot also includes items (potions, draughts, scrolls, infusions, specials, and artifacts). Train them both if you want more loot AND a larger percentage of that to be equipment.

AGI for the first, INT and WIS for the second two. They're even in the wiki.

I have another question now. What exactly is this second wind thing that helps me out in item worlds and grind fests? What conditions launch it, and would working on my attributes make it happen more often?

It happens in Arenas too, but you'll see it more often when you get on to the longer ones. It randomly restores a certain percentage of base HP, MP or SP. The chances of each are fixed, and there's nothing you can do to affect it.

Is it worth it to have any spell other than cure at my level? I'm currently only investing ability points into HP/MP tanks and EXP increase, with 1 point in cure and nothing else. Good or bad? I find shield next to useless, as is haste and weaken and just about every other spell. I'm playing a warrior of sort.

Haste will be quite excellent as you level and Weaken is one of the essential spells for taking on Bosses (though I don't use it myself since I prefer to Silence them and tank the normal attacks).
