How do I beat FSM faster with a staff? I'm not using any items but I'm taking 6000 turns with poison+banish.

Use items. Or level up. I don't think there's any easy way to do it.

Which difficulty? IIRC at your level I only spent 2000-2500 turns on normal, no items spent , and my divine prof wasn't capped.

Maybe I should get a good katalox staff and test it against curse weaver.

If you use a staff, there's no point of using curse-weaver if you don't spend the special items. Just for reference I used this staff and IIRC I didn't had the 3rd turn.

I should go staff hunting then. (Or maybe one of those noodles will get me one...)
Ether theft is no problem for me. I was using a 32% 1 turn, and had extra mana to burn.

So if you get 32% 2 turn you get 2 extra turns to burn, and that helps you.

Saving up tokens for first Mikuru fight @ Lv80. Anyone know how much incoming physical damage to expect (wearing cloth) and how much damage Condemn/Purge will roughly do (no holy/divine gear)?

Lv81, wearing regular gear + spirit-ward cloth robe (+19 dark mitigation). 4 greater mana pots, 2 godly mana pots. Spammed condemn. 5/5 Bewilder, 5/5 Weaken, 1/5 Poison, 3/5 Slow. Regen and Shield kept up.

I just beat Manbearpig and Mithra today by using the following setup:

• Average Gossamer Cap of the Earth-walker
• Fine Chainmail Hauberk of Protection
• Average Leather Gauntlets of Protection
• Fine Silk Pants of Warding
• Fine Silk Shoes of Protection

Infusions/Scrolls

• Infusion of Gaia

Hath Perks

• Innate Arcana III
  [1]Haste
  [2]Shadow Veil
  [3]Shield
• Radiant Soul

Having Radiant Soul perk helps strengthen my soul attacks with Infusion of Gaia to the point of one-hit kills on weaker enemies - sometimes several with domino. The nice bleed on the scythe is also a great help. I've yet to fight a Legendary on RoB due to my low level. Am I off to a good start?

What's the lowest level people actually suceeded in beating a Legendary?

L28 vs L27 Manbearpig

1 spirit attack[22sp]

2 average health potion

lots of cure application

fire gem[flame spikes] killed 3 mobs

I don't think this matters very much anymore since Boss level "legendaries" were nerfed quite a bit since 2009. I managed to kill a Dalek with nothing but plain old hack and slash + 3 lesser healing pots at around lvl 17. It should be possible to do it much earlier.

Nerfed or not I just killed my first one (Mithra, at lvl 27) and am happy.

Sword I got from trading in at the shrine is decent too.

1) Buy scrolls that make you do the damage it's vulnerable to
2) Equip 2 rapiers.
3) Use scroll
4) Use Regen
5) Silence the monster
6) Kill it

To kill boss?

1. cast WoT or whatever it is weak against.
2. pick up loot

I almost got killed in IW facing off MBP with just 3 more rounds to go

Anyways I got a white buneh and fared much better, ko the mobs b4 hitting it for the grenade.

Seem to be getting a boss about every 5 days...

Ok so, guys, I'm stuck with RL,IPU and FSM. I can beat the girls with relative ease (1-2 mana pots) but I don't know how to go around those 3 bastards.
Do I have to use soul spells, or is it possible to beat them with elemental dmg?
Also, how long does it take if you are using, say, an ethereal lowngsword? I have this Fine Ethereal Longsword of Slaughter.
Also, what armor should I be wearing? Should I get decent thrice blessed/spirit ward/shielding aura, or go with the traditional evade gear?
