Well he did just hit 70 so his hits are gonna be much less then yours are, I tried my first ring of blood at 70 and lost cause I ran out of godly draughts, bought a token did it again this time with a soul stone and had items to spare, then at 90 I finally got another token to drop and beat it without breaking a sweat.

I have no idea what the problem is and why I can't kill the Legendary/Boss monsters as easily as everyone else (which is hilarious if you knew my history with the Legendaries). I wouldn't need to use Elixirs in Endgame with my heavy armor on but I need them with the lighter armor to get me through in the last round, and I only wear the lighter armor so I can do magic attacks against the Legendary. I guess I just have shitty equipment.

Too bad there's all that bullshit with spells failing if we choose to wear heavy armor.

When you say magic attacks do you include elemental spells or did you mean poison,silence etc etc?
I mean if you do include elementals you are way better off without them.

If I ever try going above Hell for the difficulty on the first 4 (and I have one left out of them to do) then I'll probably bring a special item of some sort. The huge amount of HP and huge defense simply can't be beaten by the whack-to-death method sometimes. Hell was pushing it for me as it was, although admittedly I was pretty much only using draughts.

there's a pretty significant jump in hp from the first tier bosses to konata.

burned 2 tokens to find out that a couple varied draughts wouldn't really cut it, and they i should probably invest in weaken...

i assume most of ya use weaken on bosses? i cleared the first tier without it, but getting to konata i just don't have the staying power to tank that many physical hits at full damage. i seem to run out of supplies after taking her down to 50%, although admittedly i have no ranks of pack rat and went it with a less than optimal item layout, so maybe you don't need weaken. it helps though, right? whats the duration compared to silence, round the same?

weaken has around 80% duration time compared to silence. But its still worth it 1 of the best abilities available.

I meant the deprecating Poison and Silence spells. I don't really bother using elemental anymore. But you know what? I've been experimenting with Focus during my hourly battles while I'm wearing my heavy armor and of course it's sometimes resisted or interference causes it to fail but a lot of the time it works and I can use Poison and Silence on them. I play those on Hell (or Nintendo) and it comes in handy. Interesting.

damn, how do you do any real damage to the second tier bosses (legendaries i guess, the ones after konata)

even with an eth weapon i kinda just dink them.

Before there was HentaiVerse, I was the only person who ever killed Dalek in battle so this is pretty cool for me. I'm also getting the hang of it and I know what to do now to beat them. After some experimenting, I have a good mix of armor.

The next day after I killed that first Bunneh, I lost a few times in Endgame in succession mostly due to my own error, just barely loosing to Mithra and a few others (yeah, I lost a lot of credits trying) but since then I beat another Bunneh and now Dalek so hopefully I'll get even better at it. Thanks for all the help.

WTF?? I butchered Konata but went it to fight Mikuru and I was doing 1 slash damage each turn. Very much fail

As I had never before faced a legendary, with penetration of armor. I was a little hasty in using the spirit attack, did not use it to finish.

But before I used poison and weaken after penetration of armor.

I took half of his life with the spirit attack. ~2700 damage

I spent these items in the struggle:

Greater health draught x2
Greater health potion x1
Greater mana draught x2

Ah, I meant the boss creatures have there own spirit attack that will usually kill you in 1 hit, but since you were on round 6 the damage was reduced by 44%.

I do not remember that part, I might have defended it with parry. I currently 27.5%.

Damage reduction is a sweet, I was lucky to find it in the beginning. =D

Also if you can, Using your spirit attack with penetrate armor usually should take more then half of man bear pig's health.

What weapon and strategies do you use against 2nd tier legendary monsters like Mikuru Asahina and above? I've tried Ryouko Asakura couple days ago with an exquisite ethereal club and 210% overcharge, and I can only ding it for 55 damage/attack.

Well, I use an ethereal estoc with PA and poison among other things.

Does your club have stun? I've been looking for a decent one for an experiment. If it does and your interested in trading it, let me know. I have other ethereal weapons among other things I consider nice gear.

Nope, my ethereal club doesn't have stun. How much mana does it cost you to cast poison? For how many turns?

ah, for me its about 15 mana to cast I think? lasts ~20 turns. If cast on a PA afflicted enemy it gets a reasonably decent 150+ bonus damage per tick.

probably a bit higher on both for you. Also, baww another exquisite that glitched out of getting a proc.
