For Chucks. I once tried with them in offhand and did not land that many crits.

I rather use something with some decent parry or a shield, but it's for you to decide if you want to use the chucks.

If the axe has a high chance of BW, then putting a weapon with a lower bleed amount in the off hand might actually reduce the total damage over time.

So wouldn't equipping a dagger just fuck you over even more? Dagger base bleeds are barely above 6 on average.
So should I go with a shield then?
Or, how about 2 fucking axes?

If having a high and low bleed DW fucks with your dmg and as Ichy puts it, sword chucks aren't much of use, what am I left with? Rapier? I ain't going one handed, my one handed prof is at 9.51 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Dunno, it should still boost your soul-type melee damage with Infusion of Gaia even though the soul resist is higher now. Kind of a still-good but not-as-good-as-it-was-before kinda deal. I think.

Chucks in offhand is meant to be use with Rapier in mainhand, otherwise doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

High bleed 1H+Shield looks like a pretty good plan to me if you want to go with bleed route.

Since I haven't defeated the legendary yet and I have no plan to do it in the near future too (I'm lazy to build up proficiency (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)), I would like to ask between this two skill+item set, which one is better? (for Mikuru, Ryouko, Yuki)

1. Holy lv2 + almost full Heimdall set (lack head part)
2. Dark lv1 + 1 or 2 demon fiend

I do have a scythe with base 30 bleed.
Is that concidered high for a scythe? Or should I look for another one? (I'm currently leveling this one, at 122 atm)
But the scythe has VERY low accuracy (1.7 at 122, 1.6 base lol)

30 bleed is already as good as it get. And accuracy shouldn't be that much of a problem since poison and nerf (if you have it) will take care of that.

It really depend on how you want to kill them... Scythe kill faster but you'll get hit more often as well. 1H+Shield is the opposite.

If you're planning to use scrolls to increase your defense, use Scythe.

Of course not, I really have no idea about it because I never tried Holy lv2(Banish) yet (only Holy skill I have is Smite(for gain some proficiency)) and Holy lv2 is just lv90 while Dark lv1 is 150. That's why I'm not sure.

P.s. I am a mage atm, I just don't want to up my forbidden prof right now (I need like 120 points in it to catch up to my lvl (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)), it's just too much of a drag...

Dark 1 and holy 2 spells do the same damage, so it depends on your gear and in this case you seem to have better holy spells gear.
At your level you should not have that much or even any problems with the legendaries, because you have tons of good spells accesable that a lvl 75 didn't have and they were able to do it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif).
Also the arena challenges when you reach level 180 and higher have legendaries or stronger monsters at the end, so you should get used to fight them

Thanks to this thread, I was able to defeat all the bosses in a day. I'm level 55 anyway and I used Weaken, Poison & Slow combined with Superior Health Potion, Great Mana Potion, Great Spirit Potion and Scroll of Gods. Kinda overstocked for the fight but it worked. Whacked the bosses with my trusty Fine Ruby Axe of Balance. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Too bad I didn't print screen the killfest.

Was hoping to get a decent equipment from the Shrine but meh, Snowflake kinda stingy. So I sold most of her gifts. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Now waiting till I get to level 80. Can't wait to whack the real legendaries. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

their resistances/imperviousness have been upped since the previous update/fix, so you have to hit them with their weakness or you won't be able to do any damage.

i am sure that killing them with melee is actually the fastest way to kill them if you are not high level, but it all depends on your gear and abilities. Without that information, i have no idea what you have been doing and what god you were fighting

If by "melee" you mean using bleeder ... then yes, it still work.

I use the rapier to kill gods. It need specialized equipment and planning so I don't really want to recommend it to you.
