Grindfest cleared first time non-imperil build @ 7633 turns. Lightyears better than my imperil record, shows imperil sucks without charged nor willow.

Imo, when you got equipment you will use for a longer time.

Ehm, shade armor is not really what you want to use as 1H. And afaik Capacitor is only good for mages, sometimes not even for mages. You want Jugg but when you still have to even start soulfusing your equipment, i suggest dont care too much about the IW of your armor.

It is the evade that makes it general bad for 1H. There are three methods to avoid damage in this game. Evade, Block and Parry. And they try to prevent damage in that order. Block and Parry can not only lead to a counter-attack, but they can also increase your Overcharge, which is btw the reason why 1H can as long as you have at least 4 monster per round and you dont use it in another way stay indeffinitly in spirit stance. When you play 1H with a shade set which means high evade, you get of course a lesser chance for block and parry, also has shade a less burden, more agi, which both do increase your attack speed bonus and as 1H you dont really what attack speed bonus.

Yes, it is not good for 1H. With light you play DW, or 2H, or Niten, but not 1H. Yeah, i know there are people out there who do that, but it is nothing but suboptimal. 1H and light/shade want different things who work against each other.

It is better than plain leather or plain plate as you have already pointed out. However, for 1H, we want heavy armors because we are capable of getting hit and we are able to parry the attacks. (so burdens isn't necessarily a bad thing, but we don't actually want evades as we want to get hit and then parry. Note that, all of these are with the assumption that you can survive, else they do help in regard to survivability)

In your case, I would use it as it seems like you don't have a heavy set yet.

power armor gives more damage, accuracy is irrelevant once you reach 200% (which is not that hard), 1h don't need evade as they already got enough parry and block, also a counter-stun for the icing on the cake. some even consider evade hampering their clear time.

Most of us here use a script for that. Live percental ranges. Press 'a' and you get the unforged base values.

Unfortunately, I am an absolute noob and an idiot when it comes to scripts. In fact, I've never tried using one before. I followed some step-by-step advice on running this script using Console on Chrome for this item:

Is it advisable to salvage a piece of equipment that will no longer be used? Even for peerless?

I never salvage a peerless before so I want to be careful.

For example, I am going to salvage my armor (if it is worth salvaging and replaceable by my new armor), replacing it with a superior? armor, and its "sell to bazaar" price is 17935, so it'll cost me 89675 to buy it back right?

I will get (8*90% round to) 7 bindings of each kind, and that's all I will get from it, apart from some metals?
