you can't compare prof cotton with phase. They function in different type.

If you missing these parts, you'll have to use both. But in speaking of quality, they both suck and worth a piece of HGC.

Possible, but quite expensive to optimize 2 sets. Especially forging....

Not very useful to do so, better focus on one style at a time.

Why I can't use Spark of Life spell?

I use it in auto cast, and when the spell is used, it automatically cast another.

But when the second Spark Life spell is used, I can't use the spell again.

I want to write a program to estimate how many Amnesia Shards are needed to get 5p4s in staff. I noticed the explaination of potencies on EHWiki "50% chance when you have one, 75% when you have two". My question is if I have gotten one potency with level 5, such as 5p2s, the probability to get 5p3s is 50% or 75%?
Or if someone has estimated the IW process and has the result?

So what is the priority in mage gear forging stats if we're talking about overall effectiveness and RoI? I'm assuming it's proficiency on staff, then proficiency on cotton, then elemental damage on staff, then magic damage on staff, but not sure after that.

I'm now lv 360, I leveled up and equipped all auto-spells, and I use regen and heartseeker all the way through and just click the left mouse button to kill all the monsters.

I play in 1H, my weapon is a magnificent ethereal rapier of slaughter, IW 10 with random potencies, my shield has 40% block, my armor set are all random magnificent heavy armors that fits my level.

Should I invest in better equipments, or play as a mage instead?

I am interested in the mage style, but the guides I read always suggested that it takes a lot of credits for a set of good mage equipments.

Would playing as mage make it faster for arenas? How much does it cost nowadays for a proper set of mage equipments?

That does seem a bit slow. It's mostly high-level players, but you can check the battle records thread (which Nezu is bad about updating) or the older battle records thread (which may not be fully representative anymore) to get a comparison.

I don't play melee, so I'll let someone else give you expert advice there, but upgrading your equipment and forging will probably help.

Mage will be faster, but it is expensive. A reasonable starter mage set in fire/cold is probably 50-60m these days. Other elements/styles (wind/elec/dark/holy) may be slightly faster but will probably cost way more.

You mentioned "click", I guess what you need is proved script.
You can hover to attack instead of click.

Definitely faster, a lot. If you don't care about the percentile, 20m is ok for starter.
If you don't care about the prefix, 10m is ok. The main problem will be your level

By the way, is there a guide for how to play as a mage? I assume it's not the same way as playing as a warrior.
