no dude, there is no viable way to use an ethereal staff. You can't cast ethereal magic spells! Stick to your 1h/shield, that will be way better than casting spells with this staff.

I've been focusing on raising my Exquisite weapons to Potency 10
I also have Exquisite Body / Hand and Magnificent Leg
I'm also at level 185, close to get Spirit Shield
So I've been wondering if saving money for Auto-cast 3 for Spirit Shield
And having all my best gear at Potency 10 + Soulbond
Would be enough to survive more easily at Nintendo
So far I can survive 30 rounds at Nintendo when doing Item World
With some pretty close calls and battles being kinda long
Never tried Arena challenge that have boss at the end, but don't think I can survive it at the moment
So was wondering if by getting those things it would make much difference
Or if I should just focus on grinding at Hell

The level you battle them at which happens to be their level too? No, a PFUDOR monster at level 200 will drop the same creds as one at level 500.
The monster's power level? iirc the credit chance was static to somthing like 15-20%? In any case it shouldn't be affected by things like the trainings (at least directly), however there's a credit multiplier tied with difficulty so the main way to increase credit gain is of course clearing at the highest difficulty as possible.

IW10 is rather noticeable for the weapon so if you must just focus on that one(s) as the Hollowforge status is the thing that makes it worth it. Your armors will likely get changed as you level up so it's more trouble to IW those than it's worth it.
From personal experience Spirit Shield does suck a bit the moment you get it and takes a few upgrades to shine. I distinctly remember it doing poorly on Nintendo, only activating a few times on IWBTH and actually doing some heavy work on PFUDOR so while I would recommend to have it as an autocast slot as soon as possible if you're struggling with money maybe investing a bit in gears -if available- will give you more immediate benefits.
Also saying this just in case but Item World gets harder every round so maybe you're actually able to clear arenas at Nintendo already.

Overall it's just a case of leveling up more to get more stats and ability upgrades and making your character tougher while trying to get better gears. No amount of IW will make an Exquisite better than a good Magnificent or Legendary unless you forge like crazy and soulbounding is okay but not a priority unless absolutely necessary. So if I had so say something is, if you can take it try grinding at Nintendo to max your loot and gear chances, and if it's not possible, takes too long or it's just not fun there's nothing wrong playing at Hell or lower. You'll gain exp anyways so no shame in that.

I won't bother putting armors at IW10 then
As for Spirit Shield, guess I'll focus on raising Adept Learner to 100 and get some levels in Ability Boost
Stronger Spirit max at level 285, so I'll probably just wait to Auto-cast it when I reach at least Stronger Spirit 3 since it's at level 240
By then I believe I can get Auto-Cast 3 if I can clear all Arena at Nintendo
Or I'll just put something else, so far all the other buffs tend to keep me alive, so maybe I'll wait to use Spirti Shield when I get Auto-Cast 4 or even 5
Shouldn't take too long to get all if I can clear all Arena at Nintendo
For now I'm only buying Magnificent and Legendary gear for when I'm stronger
Unfortunately they're pretty much all for like level 400 or above
At Hell I pretty much never get above Superior, at least not for the gear I need
And since I never see anything that I can use in the shop, I'm not really struggling for Credits
I'm pretty much saving everything for Auto-cast while doing training lol
As for Item World, never noticed it getting harder, so maybe I'm not as weak for Nintendo as I thought

Guess for now I'll just focus on raising my level and abilities to make Nintendo more manageable

or tower: absolutely! because axe has less defense, and defense is all that matters in tower. For arena's: only if you feel that you are healing a lot.

In the first 2 weeks it's much higher, but after that it's normal.

It's not worth much. Probably just salvage it.

Elemental prefixes are not desirable for mage armor. They should be radiant or charged instead. Mystic can sometimes be acceptable, but only on an otherwise exceptional piece. For holy and dark in particular, however, a charged cotton robe of the heaven-sent/demon-fiend is ideal (assuming all other equips are perfect), so this is especially not useful. (Though if you had a really good charged/radiant heimdall robe, I'm sure it would sell for a lot.)

depends on where you use it. If it's for max damage against SG then slaughter is better, even SE only. If you're doing battle where you get a lot of damage, then the other magnificent is probably better, if it's Protection. But you can find out yourself: try the slaughter, and if that makes you heal too much then switch back to protection.

If you get a good legendary (or magnificent, as long as you use it for about 100 levels), then you do soulfuse.

Accumulate soul fragments thinking about the near future when you start to find good equipment within the 100 level range above yours.

I wanted to Soulfuse something better, but nothing better ever drops and anything I can buy is way too high level for me.

And Exquisite rarely drops too
That's why I decided to Soulfuse + IW10
Cause nothing better ever drops lol
So I'll probably stay with my current weapons for quite a while

I won't Soulfuse again until I get at least a good Magnificent
Maybe I'll get lucky and get a Legendary now that I'm at Nintendo difficulty lol
