I have been wondering that. Is Holy/Dark + Ice infusion combo better or Holy/Dark + Dark/Holy infusion combo better, both with fire spike shield?

I just did some test fest runs. Holy/Dark + Ice is better with fire spike shield. Cold strike with fire spike deal around 10% more damage compared to holy/dark strike. But it doesn't make a big difference when you blast OFC once every 3 rounds. It might make some difference in arenas though. My clear speed is definitely better with ice infusions (albeit very small improvement, around some minutes) and ice infusions are cheaper compared to holy/dark infusions so it's better to go with ice strike I think.

About the holy vs. dark debate, my holy rapier and dark rapier both deal roughly the same amount of damage. The dark rapier is a little higher but that could be due to my IW, base stat and various stuff, and the difference is insubstantial.

That axe looks like pre 0.82 equipment, so the current values don't apply to it. Most of the values were lower in pre 0.82 equipment, but you can get more PABs.

Decreasing, first 10 forge give 10% bonus but 50 forge give 49%, something like that. The numbers are just for illustration.

Nope, I barely use it. I just rely on counter attack and vital strike..

Not really imo. DW works best with high speed, something Heavy is not good for, 2H lacks parry therefore it would need evade to compensate. Mage would really take i big blow by the high interference. So, no.

Maybe with REALLY HIGH forging it could work with 2H

niten + frd if you use featherweight on all of them (you need swift strike too)

It works well with a longsword. But you gotta either play a lower difficulty, or have bullshit high PMit+MMit. Right now, I can only play arenas with Power 2H at Hell/Nintendo difficulty. And even so, the pathetic attack base damage bonus granted by the 2H damage ability, combined with the need to go OP5B4 due to the many monsters parrying, doesn'tmake it worthwhile.
You can also consider Power Niten, along those lines.

For a DW club fatality > butcher > overpower >>>>>>>> swift strike.
