what do you mean void strike and element strike can't be critical? They are just subtypes of physical attack I suppose.

I think +ice infuse is better than holy/dark infuse because you can maximize the damage with the flame spike...

Wait, flame spikes only decrease ele mitigation by 25, while most mlab monsters on average have more elemental resistance, and the difference is about 25(lvl0) - 12.5(lvl50) for most. So in the end difference is very slight, considering you aren't always hitting the ones with spike debuff. And then there are SGs, where holy/dark is absolutely superior, since 3 hardest ones have 75 ele and 0 h/d res, so only Konata gonna take a bit more damage from your spike/infusion combo. So why would ice infusion be better? Well, it should be cheaper because its worse, so theres that.

Yes, they are physical subtypes. So Butcher will boot their damage but Fatality can not

Well, i have tested and imo Holy + Ice is supperior to Holy + Dark.

So that's why so many players want ice infuse..

Well, it depends, if you have reached or are close to endgame damage, B5F4 is actually better as B4F5. There is was (what the hell?) even a whole topic about the whole numbers and such. Long story short, above 10K ABD B5F4 for below B4F5. Ask DJNoni and Scremaz what they did with the numbers if you dont believe me.

Which do I invest in for upgrading? Or should I upgrade both, since I use one in my current 1-h power build and both in my current dual-shade build?

Why do you have the exact same 2 arctic rapiers? Wow, that's amazing i think. I don't know the details about DW build, some experts said rapier+club is good because you got PA and stunned but i don't know about 2 rapiers build..

For 1h build you should go for the second rapier but you have to change the potencies like your first one. So i think the second rapier is good to go for upgrades...

If you have more credits to spend, i think you should buy a better rapier that have more than 60%-70% damage...

From what I remember correctly, I got both rapiers when I put those stocking stuffer trophies into the shrine. I don't know if that's possible, but I really did get both rapiers at the same time. I later got a legendary arctic club from a random monster drop some time later.

Thanks for the advice. I'll post some of my other gear so that the players more knowledgeable than me can take a look. I'm always looking to get some useful tips and advice for my HV experience.

What you see in the chart is Attack Crit Chance, the chance for a crit attack, the attack crit damage is only for the damage bonus a crit attack does get because of crit.
