Most of these are strictly meant as compensation for those who greatly contribute to the site for the duration of a year; they are NOT incentives for those purely seeking HentaiVerse or other rewards.

Don't bother chasing them for HV reward. Take part in the site as a whole for its betterment if you honestly want to put the work into helping the place run smoothly (tagging, for example), but expect it to be a very long and unrewarding grind.

But dont do a bad job at it. Do it right, or dont do it at all. And yes, if you do a bad job, that will be noticed.

noticed quite fast, but actions will be taken depending on the impact of the issue, i'd say.

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) Quick question ... Are the Legendary equipment that are at the same level I am, scarce or rare?

I say this because I have not seen in stores Legendary shade equipment of my level. And I do not need anything magnificent, I have a whole set of magnificent shade equipment with 4 tiers each, and everything is soulfuse to me. So I need something of better grade.

actually you don't "need" anything. if your current set is good enough, keep going and save credits.

mac os was excellent at some point, but now you can't boot from RAID, can't encrypt your home folder only etc., and i have come to prefer something with more customisation options. i'm still getting great use out of their hardware though

for how i see it, mac os main point has been to be so strictly integrated with hardware that they could afford to optimize it for a specific machine. if windows could be fit in such a way, probably its memory management would be better

desired suffixes for cotton are proficiencies: heaven-sent, demon-fiend and elementalist.

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) Quick question, why are there so many users at my level or a little higher than my level, who have almost no credits?

I do not want to say how much I have, but I have enough to improve my new legendary armor as they appear completely up to grade 5, and still I would have enough credits.

I don't want to sound offensive, but it will be because they spend too many credits on material H, for ... you know ...?

Well, I'd say you never have enough credits, and moreover when you are starting this game.

Right now, part of my credits (whatever comes from Precursor Artifacts and Noodly Appendages) goes straight to get Hath perks.

Then, from whatever I make from trophies and loot, I try to keep a balance between purchasing/upgrading gears and getting training (LoTD and Archeologist are my priorities in this regard).

I have yet to drop something really valuable, like over 1M.

There is also the fact that levels 300-400 are the worst gears wise. It's where gears get most expensive (see recent Super's auctions regarding some rapiers that were shit, but people paid 1.5-2.5M for them) and where you also start considering upgrading your gears.

Well, that's for the upper level half of that, I'd say. On the lower half, and especially between 300-310, you're just figuring out what to get and start switching from "getting whatever" to getting some proper stuff, mag level at least if possible. Plus you start thinking about switching to PFUDOR, if possible.

And yet, you do need to upgrade your gears periodically (if you haven't soulfused), because things get obsolete.

Well, at least that's my case, more or less. And I'm very stingy regarding soulfusing: either it's something I really need, like a Force Shield or I won't soulfuse it. If possible I'd like to soulfuse stuff that has at least 50% ADB, PMit and MMit.

Yeah, it's surprising how many people focus only on ADB and forget about getting a decent PMit and MMit for their Legendary Power Armors...

A lot of those people probably do have more credits than you, they just also consider themselves still very poor because they don't have enough for the things they want to buy next... like, say, 8 million for DD1 (and obviously, much more for every level thereafter...).

How much spare credits a non-rich player has around doesn't necessarily have anything to do with their purchasing habits. Because all credits can easily be sunk on Training or Hath Perks, especially considering these increase exponentially the higher you go. Your pocket funds may sometimes have more to do with how much you feel you want to keep in reserve to win auctions.

I regret not buying any hath when the market recently crashed. I was too stingy and hopeful hath would drop further. I looked at my wallet at the time and it would have been drained. If I could go back in time I would buy hath now. Although any day an equipment that I want could appear for sale then I will be thankful I hoarded up credits.

Why is Hallowed considered to be on par of Demonic when both are the same against SGs, but then Hallowed isn't as good vs normal monsters?

Research for 1H concluded that Demonic and Hallowed were effectively identical. The 18.60% to 18.51% difference is nothing compared to the differences with other elements, and within the realm of calculation, assumption, or methodology variation. Other people including myself have tried other methods of comparison and tend to agree Demonic and Hallowed is close enough to warrant the same prices, though individuals including myself may prefer one to the other as personal bias.

In regards to a question you asked way back, I also wondered long ago if counter attacks could be parried. Checking battle logs I never saw that happen, so I'm guessing not.

Please stop weaving that research for everything and anything. Keep in mind that this research is old. Nowadays the monsters we face are stronger in average.

Here, made this little excel with current monster database.

Attached File  Monsters.zip ( 5.3mb ) Number of downloads: 14

In the lower part, there are the averages according to a max and min PL range.

Take your own conclusions, but one of mine is that Imperil changes a lot of things regarding weapons vs high level monsters. Assuming you have maxed Imperil and Holy and Dark Imperils (-40 ele mit, -25 holy and dark mits).

For example, in this case (in parenthesis, elemental mitigations under Imperil):

CODE

PL Min = 1751
PL Max = 2250

Fire = 64.81 (24.81)
Cold = 57.50 (17.50)
Elec = 63.24 (23.24)
Wind = 59.30 (19.30)
Holy = 57.89 (32.89)
Dark = 53.79 (28.79)

Talking about Melee weapons, not about mages that got a completely different makeup.

Now, I understand that non-Imp style you prefer Holy and Dark weapons for normal monsters. At least they'll have the most effect.

But, using Imperil, they are the worst except vs Schoolgirls and similar monsters. You'd prefer an Arctic Weapon with Infusion of Wind for more effect of your elemental strikes.

And also, this confirms that Demonic is better than Hallowed. The difference is 46% Dark damage that passes, vs 42% Holy damage that passes, being Hallowed at the same level as Cold if non-Imperiled (for those who think that a 4% difference doesn't mean much, it's the equivalent of a 10% damage in elemental strikes).

Of course, this doesn't take into account whole PMit and MMit of each of the monsters, that could influence the results. Still, the highest mitigation monsters are usually weaker to Cold and Dark (think of Dragonkin and Giants, for example) while the most dangerous being Celestials and Sprites due to their special attacks are usually pretty weak, so it isn't like having elements specifically against them is gonna help you much.

I mean, using a nuke instead of a cannon to swat a fly has a similar effect regarding the fly.

Thanks for sharing, just taking a nosy at that now.

Also, only 1 of my monsters got scanned (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Though most are extremely low leveled, so not surprised.

Expanded the table with the whole list (sheet 2 of the spreadsheet), including the stale monster, for up to more than 50,000 monsters.

I also added a distribution of monster types, so that we could see.

I wasn't able to add an standard deviation option to the table, because excel doesn't have a standard deviation formula that allows for conditions the same AVERAGEIF does.

But well, you can see that the most used monsters are Celestials, Dragonkin and Giants; with Celestials making up for almost 20% of the monsters with a PL over 1750.

Undead get some love, but Daimons are mainly ignored.
