gillian's Battle Buddy script gave me inspiration to make my own add-on, hopefully you guys like it HV Keyboard Hotkeys by icetea101 makes your battles simpler by giving you quick key commands to attack and cast spells Now more auto-stat tracker than hotkeys!(IMG:[ img39.imageshack.us] http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/6262/stats1i.jpg)(IMG:[ img141.imageshack.us] http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/504/stats2r.jpg) (might look slightly different but mostly the same, the images are from a pre-release version) Current Version: 1.2Requirements: AutoHotkey [ www.autohotkey.com] http://www.autohotkey.com/latest Battle Buddy https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=20747Features: Assigns the 1-9 keys on your keyboard as click monsters A-I respectively Assigns Q, W, E as macros for self spells (although you'll have to change them for your own spells, see below) Assigns Enter as click next round (for cakefests) Esc exits the program automatically (alternatively you can right click the icon in your tray and close it) basic tracking of rounds, credits, and exp = toggles the other hotkeys on/off, allowing you to press most of the keys (except =) - brings up a message box displaying the total stats (rounds, credits, exp) It is supposed to select things when you press enter (thats how it gets the numbers) you have to press upenter when the next round box comes up in order for that round to be countedv 1.2 changespress the delete key to prompt for clear stats tracks a bunch more stats, incorporated with battle buddy so without it you lose a lot of tracked stats note: The spell hotkeys will have to be set to your own spell locations because everyone has different skills and my cure may not be located where your cure is. If people ask how to do it, ill make a guide thing. but since i dont have any spells other than cure and shield, i didnt focus too much on the spell thing bug note: if your using downloadable fonts, credits and exp dont show up To Run instructions: After Autohotkey is installed, copy the code (or download the attachment) to a .txt file. Then change the .txt extension to .ahk , double click and the keys will be active. start a grindfest or any battle and press 1-9, enter, =, and - to see it work Next Release: item drop stats %s for the 4/6 things gains per last round next to it anything else? Hope you enjoy it, and please report bugs and give suggestions (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) The code is now to long too post, its in the txt file below. I would thank you for this if it didn't require pinpoint window mirroring to how you had it when you programmed it, something a common problem with AHK.
The effort is appreciated though :3

the coords are in relation to the top left of the current window, so it should be in the correct spot as long as you have the HV window open
i know what you mean though, it does work well for simple attacks, but setting up a variety of skills to cast needs the pin point accuracy of the click

ah, i get it, the position of the enemies move in different resolutions, i guess i cant fix it unless i make alternate versions for each resolution
i assumed that it was originally programmed to fit 1024x768 and would just appear smaller on higher resolutions, would you mind showing me a screenshot of the larger resolution?

(IMG:[ img195.imageshack.us] http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/4841/sameh.png) i put my window on top of yours and lowered the opacity, my computer is 1024x600 minus the offset, they are exactly the same as far as i can tell, meaning it should work just as well on any resolution. give it a try (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This post has been edited by icetea101: Aug 25 2009, 01:06

I'm a depressing technical noob. I downloaded the programm and installed it, but have no idea what this means:
To Run instructions: After Autohotkey is installed, copy the code (or download the attachment) to a .txt file. Then change the .txt extension to .ahk , double click and grind away
I'm so sorry for being stupid. Please, help me! It would be really kind of you.

Okay, you start off by downloading the text file which is attached in the first post here. Then, you modify the name of the text file. All you need to do is change the .txt at the end to .ahk, which makes it an AutoHotkey script that you can run by double clicking on it. If there isn't a .txt at the end, then your settings are probably set to hide extensions. I'm not sure about all operating systems, but for Windows XP you click Tools at the top of the folder explorer, choose folder options and go to the view tab. Then, you uncheck the box marked "Hide extensions for known file types".

Go into the control panel and find folder options and switch it to the view tab (IMG:[ img17.imageshack.us] http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/7244/folderccc.jpg) turn off "hide file extensions" you will be able to see the file as "hvk v1.0.txt" you can then just rename it to "hvk v1.0.ahk" and click ok on the dialog box now you can just double click it to run it there you go, and let me know what you think of it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) since barely anyone took notice, i almost gave up the thing. but if at least one person wants an update or help ill continue with it

Oh my, I'm feeling even more depressed! So I changed the code, but it still doesn't run. I double-click and I can only see "037: Goto,START" dozens of times and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I believe that you can guess that I have never played a pc game with my keyboard. It's quite shameful.

did you copy paste or use the txt file i provided as an attachement?
can you post a screenshot of where it says Goto START?
also, if anyone is wondering if theres going to be more, i'm looking into rigging it to keep track of a running total of exp, credits, damage etc

Since I was having to get coords for my spells anyway, I adjusted the coords for monsters, added Flee, and remapped everything over to the numpad. Except for the minor lag due to having to wait to make sure the page is loaded before clicking, not a bad tool. Now all I need is to try to figure out how to GreaseMonkey position number over the monster's letter ID so I cut my brain's processing time.

i believe your looking at whats executing, so its supposed to say all that. Close the window that says all of that and there should still be a green box with an H in it in your system tray. if there is you should be able to then just hit the number keys to make it work This post has been edited by icetea101: Aug 28 2009, 22:02

There's a Goto START command on line 37 of the code, it's basically looping infinitely while it waits for you to press keys. I'm not sure why it's printing that out repeatedly, though. Do you get a little H icon in the system tray in the bottom right, and does anything happen when you try pressing the number keys, or Q, W or E? By the way, I should say thanks to icetea101 for the add-on. It's pretty cool and I hadn't heard of AutoHotkey before. I sent some rep over to you, but my power level is rather lowly so you probably won't see too much effect. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
