After a long hiatus, Battle Buddy comes back in a big way, taking all of your feedback and suggestions and taking it to the next level. Lets go through the features.

One thing the old Battle Buddy did (but poorly) was attempt to do stats. I said that persistent stats in a stateless HTTP environment cannot be done. I was lazy. I lied. Battle Buddy brings you persistent stats:

You'll notice this is a modal menu (ie. background is greyed out, and you cannot click on the background until you close the menu), and the way to access it is with the small icon in the bottom left of the screen (with the speech bubble).

Also, there is a Settings tab. In previous versions of Battle Buddy, people wanted to turn off some features. Now you can:

But what about the actual BATTLE mods? Yes, they're still here, with major bug fixes and a more polished look:

Battle Buddy has gone a long way from its humble beginnings of highlighting your battle logs - it's now a full-on HentaiVerse mod framework. At the moment the majority of the features are related to the battle screen, but mods can be built for other HentaiVerse contexts as well - and Battle Buddy has its sights set on enhancing the Bazaar in the near future.


New in 2.1.0:
All this talk about Battle Buddy being used for more than just battles, and finally I have scratched an itch I had with the item inventory: scrolling everytime I want to get at a Mana Elixir or Scroll.

If you open up the options menu, you will see checkbox for using a grid view to manage your item inventory. Note that this will not work with the legacy font system.

Are you using Firefox with the GreaseMonkey addon installed? If you have both, click on this link using Firefox, and it should ask you if you want to install the script.

I suppose it can't be helped, as it needs to finish page load before it can execute the script, and it shows page while loading.

Thanks for the positive responses, glad it's working great for you guys. And unfortunately, it does have to wait for the page to finish loading before it can apply the colors, so you'll see the "old" display for a second or so.

It took me a while but I got your script working in my SeaMonkey (=FireFox on steroids) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Very nice. As said, loading times decrease the eye candies a bit but very nice job altogether :3

Took the liberty to extend your script a bit, flagging proficiency gains, buff procs, spells cast and soul strikes to give it just that small extra spacing i wanted.

Very nice on the original and Cyriel's modification. Of course it would be even better if Tenboro integrated it into the site so there was no delay in color application...

Great extension on the script, Cyriel! Any mods are encouraged.

Now back to grindfest....

I've updated the script to include Cyriel's additions (I didn't even know spells can hit multiple targets, and proc effects...hope I get those spells soon.)
