Yakety Sax may be helpful in deep fest when you're out of elixirs and you cannot get sparked, very situational but it costs 200 hath so who cares.
Soul catcher is useless, but it was introduced together with soul fragments (so no one had fragments at that time and free fragments each day weren't a bad idea at that time).
Good eating cuts down on feeding cost, the problem is that its efficiency is low (with 154 monsters a full feeding probably costs me ~20k so to break even I would probably need something around 10+ years).

- Dawn experience is now added to proficiency experience in the first battle fought after dawn. This is applied without a modifier and does not take proficiency trainings into account; it is only there to prevent dawns from having proficiency fall behind.

Dawn XP is in alright things ive never used just went up 127 levels.

Thanks to the addition of Dawn experience to all proficiency it looks like spending weeks grinding a new proficiency from 0 to a decent level is now a thing of the past. Thanks for the update.

Thanks for making dawn XP count, I've been having a hard time making near as much from fighting as I get every day from dawn, even my main proficiencies were falling behind (but oddly enough, not supportive magic).

OK, he's told us what he's done, but why don't we hear about what he's changed. I've had some rounds where there hasn't been any prof given for exercised skills, like cure or sleep cast but no depreciation or supportive prof given. It might be a rounding error, or the prof being too low to be given (shouldn't that be where proficiency training should count?) Is there now a thing where your prof is too high for the system to give you more under the new system because the prof reward is too low?)

Well, we were already told what it was going to be like a while back, and it came out exactly as stated. But it is a little strange now that having never casted a holy/dark spell in my life, soon their proficiency will be at half my level. I guess we can think of that as our new "baseline" for "zero" proficiency...

I wouldn't be surprised if this thing was useful only to reach your level, and past that value only trainings and playing matter (read: once you reach level cap, no more passive exp awarded). Or at least, this is how I would've coded it.

The idea behind dawns is that it is a free boost for visiting the site. The proficiency boost just means dawns by themselves will never make proficiencies fall behind. It is balanced out by the fact that you don't get the "free" proficiency for EXP gained elsewhere, while those you are using gain at 4x the rate.

The extreme gains are only going to be for the first few dawns, and you could have gotten those anyway just fighting a few battles.

Today I didn't get any prof exp from the dawn event as no exp bonus for level 500, while level 499 players (may) get a fair amount of prof exp even though their prof level is over 500.

If it is intended, it is not fair.

there are. the "prof dawn" is a plus: following the new prof system, a bonus gain at every dawn has been added.
to earn it you have to trigger dawn and engage in whatever quest
