QUOTE(Tgbvfr @ Aug 26 2017, 20:33) Some may ask well how much play is enough?
Depends on level, at your level, with the original update I would be able to gain 2 levels per day and keep profs 20 levels higher. At my current level, with the original update I would be barely able to keep my prof on par. Why? Because needing 4,083,965,921 EXP or 233,656,955,014 EXP to level up is a bit different and when dawn of day gives you 11,682,847,750 EXP is really easy to fall behind unless you play a lot. Ideally dawn of day bonus as proposed by Tenboro + 2X prof multiplier sounds like the perfect balance.

That seems a little harsh, but then again a lot of things in HV get harder as you progress. Still I double checked some things on the wiki and might have found an issue. Could someone take a look at the 3rd item in Gains section of the Proficiencies wiki? I'm pretty sure that the amount of gain is no longer chosen at random, but now based on the amount of experience you gain during battles.

QUOTE(Tgbvfr @ Aug 26 2017, 14:33) Some may ask well how much play is enough? I just happened to level up a few hours after this version was released and my proficiency for my primary fighting style was previously maxed. I have 0 Assimilator training, and yet just by doing around 110 REs plus about 90 minutes of Arenas a week, I only need .071 proficiency to reach my current level. I have approximately 6.05 bars at the bottom of the battle screen, so I could probably cut my Arena time to a third and still maintain my proficiency. Naturally, your mileage my vary, but honestly I don't think we need to gain proficiency at the dawn. However, I'll gladly take the free proficiency.
That may be your experience, but certainly hasn't been mine. Obviously doing nothing but sitting in front of your computer and playing HV all day every day, doing every arena, etc is how it is now. I leveled up right BEFORE the 0.86 mess. Doing my normal batch of arenas everyday (I don't do them ALL, no) and getting almost every hourly every day, my main prof was at around the the halfway point from my level when I started, and I JUST went over a day or so ago. More accurately, I've been spamming spells left and right and my dep is still under .8, and my forb. is still under .6 from level, and those two were a full point below my level since I hadn't grinded those yet when the "update" hit. It's so tedious and time consuming and boring. Getting level up automatic prof is essentially necessary if gains are going to remain at their current level, i.e. .01, .02 or .03 per ACTION nerfed into .004 or below per hourlies, or occasional .001's during RE's when your prof is below your own level. As I've stated more than once, any players looking to go ABOVE their level with prof, the current system is fair. anybody below level, the nerfed gain is (intentionally) broken.

I just got dinged a point of stamina for choosing Rarity on a Horse puzzle that had three versions of her, one that was highly opaque.
And then I got another 3xRarity AGAIN and it's saying I was wrong. It was DEFINITELY Rarity.

QUOTE(Sapo84 @ Aug 25 2017, 10:34)
If I had the credits/hath I would get them. 5% damage is always pretty good, FoS is useless unless you also buy trophies. And anyway, the reason why DD was expanded is that 112 players already had DD V (worth every hath, fantastic upgrade).
So very true. 5% to me is much more MDB than I would get with any peerless radiant piece out there. Whether it's expensive is relative to the player. Ahhhh... who am I kidding? It's expensive to everyone of us. Its gonna take me weeks... Maybe even months. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Edit: Just kidding of course. 140,000 HatH is over the top for anyone. Focus staves has higher pxp0 so higher stats. This is most evident with Arcanist shades where the higher pxp0 gives ~6% L-Range advantage.

I actually was just thinking of my melee pov, and you opened my eyes, as, like you said, spending millions on a piece of radiant cloth might not be very different than buying one of the new 5% perks. Rich mages have it really good. ; n ;

I was thinking with the extended DD perk, I would have it made though. Go Charged! No more competing with the ultra barons on Radiant. I found out real quick, there's no decent charged pieces either. I did know this! I did notice how much higher the pxp0 was on all Arcanist. Big difference there.
