staff prof change is pretty bad ass for mages. There were ways to grind it but it was boring.

I guess it was fixed for mainhand but not for offhand?

There are still no new suffixes for oak in the new patch!
Fire and Ice only have redwood(LxRD ,LxRE or LxRx) to use.
Using willow will lost self EDB and using oak has no suffixes.

Just socket some new suffixes and prefixes in patch 1.10.

Great update for high level mage:
  1. Finally no need for wracking monsters to gain staff prof, avoid exhausting work
  2. Less effort to get prof to 400, encouraging trying new play style
  3. Higher prof == higher clearing efficiency

did the food costs for monsters go up lately? it seems like it costing me 4 food/day rather than 3/day like it used to...

Ok this time its a real problem

it seems that the drug all monsters does not work if you have empty slots ... or maybe when the empty slots are between two monsters. I have monsters in slots 1,2,6 i deleted the rest and it always shows that drugging is not required even when moral is at half. If i open the monsters own page it will state 1 or 2 pills required.

This was working before but wanted to drug the powerlevel 1 monsters ub 3-5, so i deleted them.

Drug all monsters only works for monsters with less than one quarter morale (when the morale bar is yellow instead of green). At that point, they will need 3 happy pills.

Just a question I've had since the update came.

If there was a need to solve the issue of HatH losing value, why didn't the increase in the proficiency cap come as perks?

I'm not willing to spit on the free "new endgame activity", but having it just increased to 600 seems boring, so why not have perks increasing it by 100 until 1000 max?

Endgame players that grind a lot and have max prof training shouldn't take long to max it, even with the new system.

Nope, it takes years of 10+ PFUDORFest/day to reach 600.

Didn't make any complex math, but as I'm getting 1+ prof everyday, and when the Dawn exp also starts counting towards it, I thought it would take about less than two years to cap prof, considering I also get to max level by then.

Just considering that updates are so rare, coming pretty much only once a year, so having some more stuff to do instead of mostly technical improvements is one of my only wishes before I get to endgame and there's nothing interesting to aim for anymore.

Hopefully the "more stuff to do after max level" in Tenboro's list of things to implement wasn't taken out with just this new proficiency cap. @-@

The new damage perks seems quite silly as well, with last one having even same worth of FoS, and just giving 5% more damage.

Imo, these new perks should come with additional crit chance as well, to at least give a reason for the ridiculous prices, which not even HatH barons would dare invest into easily other than for the lolz.

In addition to the dawn proficiency, he may also be putting the finishing touches on the code for the monster name flagging, which has not begun yet unless I missed that post. So I wouldn't be surprised if takes a few more days.

You're underestimating the EXP ramp-up.
Here you can find the math (done when the prof was 2X).
Also lvl 500 players don't get dawn exp.

If I had the credits/hath I would get them.
5% damage is always pretty good, FoS is useless unless you also buy trophies.
And anyway, the reason why DD was expanded is that 112 players already had DD V (worth every hath, fantastic upgrade).

I feel like the proficiency gained above the current player level is just enough for the proficiency to hit the value of next level when it's reached, meaning the exp and the prof gain would be too tightly tied.
Does anybody really manage to get much more than the player level in proficiency?

Some may ask well how much play is enough? I just happened to level up a few hours after this version was released and my proficiency for my primary fighting style was previously maxed. I have 0 Assimilator training, and yet just by doing around 110 REs plus about 90 minutes of Arenas a week, I only need .071 proficiency to reach my current level. I have approximately 6.05 bars at the bottom of the battle screen, so I could probably cut my Arena time to a third and still maintain my proficiency. Naturally, your mileage my vary, but honestly I don't think we need to gain proficiency at the dawn. However, I'll gladly take the free proficiency.
