Ah-ha! Found it. Your previous script didn't require any external things and this one does and NoScript was blocking it. After I added your domain to the allowed list, it worked. Now I have a little bug report: The number of turns icon is not where it really should be, I think?  EDIT: It fixed itself after I reopened the tab and everything's working fine so far. THANK YOU so much for this. I'm sending you 1k C and all the positive karma I can. I love you. Though it is kind of annoying that when one hides the H-Verse logo that it moves the other bars upwards. Maybe you could have it replace it with an empty space?

so i dont have to run two things at once (ie. the stat tracker ahk by ice) you think maybe you two could collaborate and add an item tracker to a new tab? as in lists what items you've found since the last time you reset it and your % drop rate? also i do rather like the second wind tracker from ice's as well.

im not sure what gillian plans in the future, but i have already resolved to figure out how to get my stuff working in his script. Ill be working on it most of today and tomorrow.

I got a bug where it tracks that I picked up an equip drop, but it didn't record what it was. I've gotten three drops since the new version, and it didn't catch what dropped the first and third times.
If you do add other types of tracking, you should allow for selective resets. Like a session reset, a full reset, stats/drops/mobs only, etc.

I agree, units per monster like icetea has it and/or units per all items dropped would be more accurate.

also battle buddy can distinguish between equips/artifacts/potions by their color so if i do get around to adding on to it i can separate those per monsters etc. and maybe find out the actual per monster equip drop rate as a result

both can be usefull anyway 'units per monster' and 'units per items' gives more real info then uncertain 'units per round' where can be different numbers of monsters, but percentage value in exchange of curren 'rounds per equip' will be more valuable... updated the script to better handle the Hiding of HV logo (it no longer shifts items up the side).
And @icetea101 - great to have your input on the stats. Battle Buddy started out as a quick script to highlight battle messages, but I've had the vision to turn it into a framework that would give other developers a base to build their own modifications on. Looking forward to seeing your updates, post them here and I'll roll em into the release.

im not sure what form you want them in. so far im just modifying your current battle buddy. im making two more panes by copy pasting what you did for your other panes and ill toss some variables in. Ill have it give the monster counts and item drops. I'll also make another reset for just the monsters and items, similar in fashion to your other reset button since i dont really know what the code is doing, im just copy pasting lots of stuff and changing it a little. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Follow up on this. Right after I got an equip drop, I went in and checked the info pane, it showed up. A couple of rounds later, I went back in and it stopped listing what I got, but it remembers that I got it. I'm using FF 3.5.2 and I didn't do any drastic changes to your script (ended up only doing just some color changes). I have dividers and hide logo turned off. ive gotten that exact equipment problem without modding anything, i think the string that remembers the last equipment drop is getting cleared somewhere sooner or later ill learn something about this code (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I have a code request, or I can try to figure out how to code it myself if someone gives me some tips; can you add variables that track skill gains to the window? I would love to see how much skill I've gotten in dual-wield from cakefest, or armor proficiency from weighing down the defense hotkey.
I've done a touch of editing the existing code, but I wouldn't know how to set up the variables or text scanning for it.

Any tips on getting greasemonkey to actually install? Every time I restart firefox it isn't there =/
Tried downgrading from v3.5.2 to v3.0.13 as it suggests on another site, but still nothing...

I've found that Firefox had some major extension issues when updating through the 3.x series. As a last resort you might uninstall Firefox completely and then re-install with 3.5.2. Mind taking a screen shot of your addons page before installing greasemonkey, and then after, etc?

my existing stat tracker does that, my sig has link. eventually i was going to add that into battle buddy as well, still working on the other stuff though
