It's a bit weird, but it's working as intended. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It's not so much that you're not as good as using it, as that it scales down to an item of your level. Although it's possible I'll simply just make burden and interference not scale down. |

The equip shop doesn't actually generate items above level 100. I had three staffs and a bunch of other crap that were cluttering my inventory and making firefox slower when I was arsing around with the equipment screen, and couldn't be arsed to look them up from the item table and delete them. At least I decided it would be a bit too OP to put up the magnificent one with 35% damage mod, ether theft, and +15-25 to all proficiencies. But then again the system would have put a buy value on that one of about 75k. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Hey, it has its own slot... despite which, I can only use it with my hand.
It has 10% chance for Bleeding Wound (2 turns) - but the damage that does is distinctly unimpressive. In fact its overall stats are no better than the dagger I got yesterday, so I'm taking it to the shop.
Wow, it sold for 1716C. That's more than anything else there costs to buy.
