HOW do you BT trio? Even if I had the mana to blast Flames of Loki every round I wouldn't survive.

The first times I used the 0 items used manly strategic, which is weaken all, bewilder some, and when the 3-4 mini-boss rounds appeared slow in some. Cure II to recover, the usual buffers (using channeling), and then cast 1 tier spells, recovering the max MP possible with ET (3-turns 40% more precisely).
The final round, sleep 3, and kill 1 goddess, and continue, not special, but a time waster.

How I do it now? Fuck the mana recovery, I just bring mana elixirs, and scrolls of gods I get every day, and use ragnarok+infusions of darkness (Although it's probably better WoT+FoL), and whack every monsters until the end. 8-9 mana elixirs+ 3-4 scrolls it's normally what I spend.

I figured that was it. I haven't done that in over a year, and I hope I never have to again - it takes FOREVER (and I"m using a 2turn 40% ET staff).

I only have 200 mana elixirs, and probably around that many scrolls of the gods... I don't exactly want to waste them like that, especially since everyone seems to get Godly Potions for their troubles. But that's definitely a faster way to do it.

How do you get all your weakens out before they one-hit you? If 3 unweakened regular mob all crit me at the same time, my hp drops from full to 0.

He's gonna be a lot faster than you base speed-wise (and haste helps). I can use 3-4 self buff spells and still cast an offensive spell before I get attacked once at the beginning of each round.

Edit: We also tend to have decently high evades + shadow veil.

X-magic, also less than 20 burden, plus what Bob said. 0 items, doesn't mean spark won't trigger once.

Well it's not like I BT trio every single day, after all I don't play that much (although I'm playing a little more now until l250), but if the problem is because of spending elixirs, well I don't need them until To kill a God, and even so, trio would take 4 elixirs + 9 godlys, if I bother to do that, probably less if I use ET in the last round.
The reason I use the scrolls, and yes I recover them easily, it's because not only save the item slots needed for spirit items, but you save MP by a lot, due the extra SV + 0 spark recasts.

That's really sad, since the last you spoke about it, I got 2 flower vases and all.
