Four Blood Tokens, a couple of pairs of Gold Gauntlets (one 'normal, one of the 'Fire Eater' variety), one gold-trimmed Pants, an Iron Axe of Slaughter, and a Flame Thrower all within an hour or two of each other.
And a loooooooong dry spell (in term of Weapons and Artifacts) before that, maybe 2-3 days.

Sweet. I picked up a bunch of cloth armor yesterday, which I really didn't need, but right now, I just picked up a Fair Iron Scythe and my third Token of Blood on Grindfest round 26. Perfect timing too, since I'm training with 2-handed weapons right now. Even better timing is that I'm exactly at the level to use it.

[Flimsy Platinum Dagger] [Fine Gold-trimmed Phase Cap of Freyr] Cakefestan
So we know Phase is the Grail for magewear and Battlecaster enchant is the one for caster hybrids. Do tanks have a special set to turn them into mobile fortresses?

Yes, it's called heavy armor. Seriously though, there was originally set of super-powerful heavy armor, like the Phase and Kevlar sets, but it was just too OP.

Awww. Any possibility that you might revisit them in the future to try balancing them? I don't even care about the super-powerful "the bullets, they bounced off" kind of armor, I would be happy with something marginally better than the average bit of heavy. Like just a regular set with bigger STR/END bonuses or something. New stuff I picked up in Cakewalk: [Average Platinum Buckler of the Nimble] [Average Platinum Buckler of the Stone-skinned]

Is gosamer stuff like this special? (IMG:[ zangetsu.dommel.be] http://zangetsu.dommel.be/gosamer.JPG) This fine piece of pants has a sell value of 2143, so for someone buying it from the bazaar that would be 10715 credits, quite expensive :x.

gossamer is rarer then the plain silk or cotton stuff that usually drops so its more expensive, phase cloth is even rarer.

What do you think I've been wearing, Bronze and Iron? Except for my helm and gauntlets (which are Steel), I've been wearing Platinum since before I could even get them in drops. I've even got higher level gear in inventory for when the scaling puts their stats at a higher value than my current gear.

Sadly I am still wearing 1 piece of iron and 1 piece of bronze, and a steel weapon. I need some useful drops, all i have found lately are cloth armors. At least nothing is of lower quality then average, an my weapons at least are superior.

It's a bit of a mystery. These are mine: Crude Gold-trimmed Gossamer Shoes of the Heaven-sent Proficiency Bonuses Divine 5.6 Physical Absorption 0.6 Physical Mitigation 0.4 Magical Absorption 0.5 Magical Mitigation 0.7 Evade Chance 0.8 Burden 3.1 Primary Attribute Bonuses Intelligence 0.6 Wisdom 0.3 Agility 0.3 Level 44 / Slot: Feet / Type: Cloth armor And these were in the shop: Fair Gold-trimmed Cotton Shoes of Protection Physical Absorption 0.9 Physical Mitigation 0.9 Magical Absorption 0.5 Magical Mitigation 0.3 Evade Chance 1.4 Burden 5.7 Primary Attribute Bonuses Agility 0.3 Level 45 / Slot: Feet / Type: Cloth armor The cotton shoes would set you back 869C, the gossamer ones a whopping 4000C. Is that because they're gossamer, or because of the "Heaven-sent" thing? Beats me.

gossamer seems to be more expensive by nature. it usually has reasonably high evade (2.5+) and low burden, as well as a good chance for proficiency + bonus affixes (mine is +elemental prof, and i have seen a few others with various proficiency bonuses as well)
you happen to have found a particularly crappy piece :/ but yeah i believe the price boost is due to gossamer

Well, all types of gear have an inherent base value factor. Gossamer stuff has a fairly high base value at a factor 5.1, and this value is modified by a number of other factors like level, quality and whether it's "of" something. But this doesn't as much represent the actual value someone would pay for it, as its rarity.
