What's your LoD training level? Ethereal is understandably rare. As far as Kevlar goes, I've only gotten 1.

Fine phase gloves of heimdall

Damage-wise they're superior to my current gloves and equal evade-wise, I just wish I had gotten a better evade roll for a fine quality phase.

LoD doesn't affect type of gear, only quality drops, but I'm beginning to suspect that stars can.

I know, those were seperate points. What makes you suspect that? Nothing seems to be glaringly obvious as far as excessive high-quality drops go. Keep in mind that a much larger percentage of high levels have at least 1 star vs lower levels with stars, and high levels will naturally get more and better drops in general, stars or otherwise..

Why would that change my opinion? Also, I wouldn't use it without a battlecaster wakizashi which I don't have (I'll take one if someone has one).

Just a personal believe in watching drops over since, well a long time, and it wouldn't be the first time something wasn't officially said actually existed. This is also something I discussed with Boggyb previously far before I was Gold.

Keep in mind that a much larger percentage of high levels have at least 1 star vs lower levels with stars, and high levels will naturally get more and better drops in general, stars or otherwise..

I'm aware, and counting with that, but still don't explain the difference.

Still, even if I'm correct that's not something I consider unfair, remind you.
