so.... it's superior and gossamer so it should be atleast decent....call me underwhelmed, also figures its the lowest possible level I can get. Although I guess I'm comparing them to my phase boots of overpoweredness

No kidding. These are 10 levels lower, but have almost identical stats, and some that are even better (+2 evade, +1 AGI and everything else is almost the same). Superior is not enough better than fine to be as rare as it is. Tenb really needs to change this. I haven't done an arena in 3 days, I just don't have the urge anymore because there's no point to winning - nothing I find will be remotely good enough for me to consider it worth the time required for the arena, especially since they're getting 80 rounds long.

ya I only do 3-4 arenas a day now, I spend most of the time playing in IW upgrading the stuff that I already have, since that feels like time better spent.
