How about posting what equipment you're currently wearing? I think Tenboro seeded the shop and I managed to snag an item that hasn't been listed yet, so there are probably others (Phase armor?).

I think the benefit is more with the Soul Damage. It definitely does more damage to the boss monsters since they probably have high ratings for the other 3 types of physical damage. Also, all the armor will probably lower action speed more than you will save from having 0 burden and interference with the ethereal weapon.

if you can cancel out one of the other equipments, how would that not be a main benefit?
plus if you can get good enough armors, you might be able to cancel out 2 of them

I also baught a fine sappire ax, a crude Plat shortsword & a Fair steel mace

I can't get my hands on any breastplate... shirt even (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

They're a rank lower (two if I don't replace them, since I'll rank up in a week or so), but right now I'm just grabbing whatever heavy armor shows up to equip myself so I can raise proficiency. I already decided I'm gonna be an armored warrior build with my stats and Abilities, so I have to follow through. No point wasting hard-earned credits and raising proficiency for things I won't be using.

You are lucky...I have 2 in scavenger and another in quartermaster, pretty much no difference so far :X
