I just don't fucking get how difficulty and quality points and item quality all fit together anymore. What. The. Fuck.

Endgame on Heroic: [Average Kevlar Helmet of Protection]

Yay for my first ever kevlar! HOW THE HELL IS IT AVERAGE!? I was on fucking heroic, with 13 luck of the draw. Given that normal gives 1x modifier and battletoads gives 2x, I think it's safe to assume heroic is about 1.2x or so, which means my bonus was 35% Somehow, on heroic endgame, I got average kevlar. Fine, Superior, Exquisite, Magnificent, PLEASE!

I'm not even sure if it's worth wearing. My FINE dragonhide has more STR, AGI, crushing mitigation, and resist. Fuckkkk

Given how rare kevlar is, I think if you find a piece at all it should have an extremely high chance of being superior or better.

It should affect the quality point bonus, which decides for both items and equipment. My guess is that getting enough points to qualify for fine, superior etc is much higher than it used to be.

I wonder as well, though it's a moot point. No one has the credits to get even close to that.

Also, we're just generally fucked because of how much quality points can vary by base value. The base quality points for a dropped item is anywhere between 1-1000, so even if you're on battletoads and have 25 luck of the draw, if your base quality value is 100, you're going to get a crude item. I honestly think there should be higher base quality values for higher difficulties.
