Exquisite Plate Sabatons of Protection

Normally this would be hopeful High Grade Metal fodder, but since the recent patch...is anybody using good Protection Plate now?

I've got a few Protection plate's, but they all seem to have high dex and str and crap END lol.

As for salvaging exquisites, only the one's with at least pxp 0/330+ give High Metals
i've never once gotten a high-grade from a 0/329 item.. like ever. And with the current patch it seems
like the chance to get a high-grade seems even lower, last item that gave me a high-grade was
an exquisite with pxp 0/334 so i don't how 0/333 0/332 0/331 are.

and for Mag's with pxp 0/336 to 0/339, they still can get High-grade, but chance doesn't seem as good, Mag's with 0/340+ get HG a lot easier, but of course it's not guaranteed.
