It's much better than my Exq. Katalox Staff of Destruction anyway. If it was Demonic, then it would be an excellent staff. As it is, it is a great staff nonetheless.

Last I looked, holy was as desirable, if not moreso than dark, due to holy EDB boosting healing, the bonus damage the holy spell proc gives and the super effective nature vs the FSM <.<

For Arena battles, Demonic is preferred since only 1 type (Daemon) has high resistance to it. For FSM, Hallowed is preferred. It's a nice staff anyway. I have seen Ethereal, Demonic, and Hallowed Katalox staves of destruction. They're still expensive staves anyway.

Holy and Dark have the same number of resistances (you can safely ignore Sprite) and more or less the same number of weaknesses

Forgot about Undead. Guess I have to choose between either one. Wish I got more Heimdall drops since Fenrir drops slightly more often for me.

If I were starting from back a few months ago when I was new and just planning my character out only with all the knowledge I have now as well, I'd have to very seriously contemplate being a holy mage instead.

It's pretty tempting. If holy EDB also improved Regen II now or at any point in the future like it does with cure, that would be the only thing possible that would get me to stop being a wind mage right now.

That's how much I like the look of what holy can do, sure dark has a 4th tier but gives up 2nd tier for it, not nearly as interesting to me or worth the trade off, especially with all those high level undeads roaming around <.<
