Did you tried DW + Power armor (Slaughter) yet? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) ... I don't have a good set (or even a set for that matter) so I don't really know, but it could be good.

That might just be a tad overkill though. RoB is so fucking easy enough as it is... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

The point is not to use it on RoB. That's already lightning fast as a mage.

And Power armor is awful for IWBTH unless you like getting the tar beat out of you after a few rounds.

Darn, I shouldn't have asked... From now on I'll live in fear of having my only barely viable playstyle pulverized.


Edit: I read that wrong (don't ask, I'm multitasking ATM), I thought you wrote "style nerf" referring to DW in general, but you wrote "skill nerf"...

What part of a skill that takes so damn long to set up and gives so little in return should be nerfed? I patiently leveled up jmy DW prof to 100 to test out Frenzied blows firsthand and with 160% overcharge (which cost a boatload of APs) it's still so clumsy to activate that often it isn't even useful. The bare minimum to use it on the fly is 180% and that's another 20 or so level ups away. And that would still leave you without spirit chance to cast cure/supp. spells.

I don't really think it warrants a nerf, I was about to suggest to lower the OC cost to activate FB...

You are mistaken. It's fast to use repeatedly with hotkeys, and it's incredible overpowered for anyone with 280% and a mainhand void weapon. And that is with:

attributes weighted massively towards mage, low proficiencies, and underleveled and non-forged equips

You are well aware that the bare minimum requirements for that to happen is reaching level 250 having spent almost every AP only in STs and OTs... Not very likely. Let's say someone could achieve that reasonably around level 300.

There's a handful of you, and things being as they are the other won't reach you anytime soon.
